You can get firespray disks from any part you RE. the friend who does all my REing tells me what parts he gets them from, as I am usually standing right next to him when he does it. Kuat-made stuff may have a slightly higher percent chance but I can't confirm it.

I LOVE my firespray... excellent ship in my opinion.
Well lets see here....
I can get you some specifics if you want (I can edit this later)
Engine: Tier 3 reward engine 79, 63ypr
Reactor: 25k gen, 24k mass
Shield: 2500 with a 15.7 recharge
Capacitor: gotta go doublecheck this...
Weapons: 2 x 3600 max damage blasters
Ordance: 2 x SpaceBomb2 Launchers
Droid Interface: 12.7 I think is the droid speed.. gotta dbl-check
Armour: front and back 2750
CounterMeasures: trying out some of the Image Generator one's I think
Flight Computer: Level 6
- weapon/capacitor/reactor overload 3
- shield reinforcement front/back
- cap to shield shunt
Thats off the top of my head. I'm at work currently I'll update later.
I've used 208,960 out of my 209k mass.
Damn thing is loaded to the gills. Didn't take me long to get used to flying it either. Nice thing is Weapon 1 is right under your cockpit and weapon 2 is on the far bottom. If you are the type of pilot that is comfortable with roling to follow your targets you will find that the lower gun is much more effective than many people would have you believe.

The firespray is a lovely ship.
Has the mass for a decent loadout, and it manuveurs like a more sensitive X-wing with the right engine.

Hey Kids, I want to personally congratulate anyone who has managed to get a Schematic piece at all, I have personally Processed 300 completed Reengineerings since launch, and I got NOTHING, level it did not matter to me, Orig Corp did not care, i was reenging like a madman. Still consider myself the unluckiest person alive...

Tens of Krayts nothing
300+ completed Reeng nothing but some really cool parts 
ehh well i guess i got something, the only thing I am guaranteed

You know, I was kinda the same way. I re'd and re'd and nothing. Then all of a sudden one day, bam, a disk. I'm thinking it's great and tell all my guild and everyone congratulates me, then I get back to re'ing and, not exxagerating at all this really happened, two re's later I get another. After that I was able to get a schematic within a couple weeks. I'm not saying this is anything more than a coincidence, especially since I started reing a lot more after that, but I had probably done a good 3-4 hundred re's before I got anything. Guess my bad luck just ran out.

i got my 8th a week ago, and since then i have been posting on the ahazi trade forum, looking to trade my double 7/8 8/8 for a 1/8 and a 5/8 
no luck so far.
i keep REing , but at a much lower rate, becasue i cant afford to keep buying up loot...
i wish you just needed 8, wihtout the added luck one has to have to loot 8 unique disks lol

FUNNY STORY
I should complain about bad luck more
I got my first piece after my 496 th completed Piece
and a Diesel Droid interface too
appropriatly enough 1 of 8... and went up to 515 before i ran out of parts that matched up
I have the REing down to a science
Spread sheets so I know when i gotta stop and re for a few hours...
Not letting my guildies just drop any loot, actually picking it up from them, or having them drop it on a Vendor for me..
and labeled Stations for part storage... so i dont lose my mind )

I sympathize with you guys completely. I got a disk on the first day of JTLon the first RE I ever did. 550 parts later, I got another one. 2 months later, I got a third. Suffice it to say one week ago I had 14 disks and finally made a trade to get a complete set since I could never get 8/8 on my own.
If you want these things fast, get pilots to spend hours killing tier 1 stuff so that Reing2-3k parts is feasible in a shorter amount of time.

Well been about a week and I have gotten
1/8 off a level 8 part
4/8 off a level 1 part
8/8 off a level 2 part
somewhere on the boards there was some mumbo jumbo about the odds of getting schematic pieces....
this is my theory
somehow someway... as I am not Comp savvy dont ask for details that dont include the comp fairy
the game takes a count of what you reeng, by re level, and as my observations tell me, they spit out the schematic as per a roll based on the amount of each level you do, as most of my reing is level 1, 8 and 2, as my spreadsheet told me.. it was obviously the ones that would end up producing them first, I have been pushing out level 6 loot like it is going out of style, as if I am in some way shape or form right, it will work faster, if I am wrong, i dont care because it will keep me doing this to prove me right... at least in my mind LOL..

It's the only solo ship I use now. I find the off center aiming to be a pain but I compensate for it by aiming under my targetreticle. Still, it's in need of fixing.

Aww Im kinda bummed its only a solo ship, the devs should make it so you can hold jedi bountys in the cargo hold.
