Checked ebay last night and theres a guy selling a thrustmaster set. It's the f22 stick, f16 throttle and a set of pedals. Was around $66 last i checked. Don't know if the auction is over yet or not, but if someone wants to try out that gear it's dirt cheap or was for what you are getting.

anybody??? I've tried fooling around with the x45's profiler software but i'm having a hard time of it. I'm not sure if I should program the controls thru the joystick software or thru the game itself. Any suggestions???

I would personally recommend the Saitek Cyborg Evo. The feature allows it to be adjusted to your hand, so long flights are SO much more comfortable. It has 3D rudder, which is, in my opinion the most useful thing in combat, allowing much quicker turns. It is relatively cheap, and has enough buttons to map all the functions you need.
Good joysick in all the games i used it in, now i need activion to get their stupid heads together and give me JTL to Play

No idea really. All the info I have gotten is from mailing the info link on saiteks page. Mike will mail you back with what he knows. I asked about the US release date but didn't even think about a europe release date.

I am using the Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro USB with no problems, although I saw someone post that this joystick did not work for them. I like the the small thumb slider for the throtttle.

I had a bit of a convo with a fellow at Saitek today. X52s are in the process of being shipped out to CompUSSR at the moment, and the local CompUSSR confirmed that they should arrive within the next 7-10 days.
I've found several sites overseas (specifically in England, Australia and New Zealand) taking preorders for the X52. They're mostly claiming November 16-ish (give or take a few).
I'm gonna go play with one of these as soon as they arrive. I like the X45, but I can't fit my hand in the guard comfortably without clikcing that silly pinky switch. The X52 sounds like that part will be adjustable.

The x45's are bad. Got alot of diffrent bottuns to use. Problem i have with it is that the Throttle is a bit sticky(hard to move), the joystick is ant bad but i hope the the one comeing out is a bit looser.
And right now with JTL im getting bugged with the throttle, some times i can only go up to half speed, some times i can only go half speed or faster. Dont know if there is a way to fix this but just a thaught to consider when looking at them.
