What made it harder for me to do the tier 3 missions in my standard Y was the fact that all the enemy ships I was killing in my duty missions were dropping nothing but crap the whole way through. By the time I made it to tier 3 I was still using tier 1 crap. Also funny how tier 3 and 4 and even some 5 craft still seem to only drop tier 1 equipment.

Try the "Declorian Area" POI next to the Red Sin Chimaera hyper point in the Endor system. Pirates there regularly drop lvl 5 to 7 components, somtimes 8 and 9.

Not true, they decay if you get blown up. Tested this myself.
got blown up in my Dunelizard plenty a time. Never any decay. Cost only 5k to fix all components and be on my way. Sure, higher level craft/components are going to be more expensive to repair, but I'm sure nowhere near 500k

Dromag67- Cry did group with me and about 16 others but we didnt have time to run her misson, im sure we could have done it but we didnt. Im sure she has tired it, some missons are just inside of spawn areas for high lvl ships, and hard to get through that if u dont have 7 or 8 ppl . Cant always get that many ppl. For anyone who is onBRIA having problems running missons come to Yavin IV imp Base around 9 or 10pm we usually run missons out of there every night and have a good turnout, or just send me a e-mail.

I'm a REBEL pilot. My first post clearly states that and it is also in my signature. I started Tier 1 on Moenia, and then did Tier 2 and 3 for the Vortex Squadron on Dantooine. First of all I'm not even aware of any JTL exploits or cheats for this expansion. I don't think any exist or have been discovered yet. Second, I'm am far from the only one who has soloed Tier 3 in any faction. I outlined my tactics in the above post (which you obviously either did not read or failed to comprehend what was said). I have never cheated, and never will. I was trying to help by telling you that Tier 3 missions are doable and not only got flamed, but had my character questioned as well.

I did the first tier 4 alone, and am trying to do the others as well. It's not easy, but not impossible........like hard Xwing or Tie Fighter missions from back in the day. If you have trouble, find a group. I see people in the major areas shouting to team up to do tier 3 and 4s all day long.

I don't mind the hard, and don't mind the challenge. It is the stupid you do the first three parts over an hour and then mess up on the last, they make you do the entire mission over again. It is doing that hour over again, just to get to the part you want to do is what is ridiculous.
I have dumped JTL because of this. I won't play a broken game. Getting frustrated is not my intention when playing a game.
