How about some new ideas?
For example, space battlefields, Or a "corvette" while your in ships. I like the voice chat idea but we really need to give some new ideas other than cry untill the devs come and say ok.

I wonder if a new thread should be started, I think #1 commando's summary would be a pretty good way to kick it off. This thread has a lot of unneccesary clutter, hopefully Mandy could restrain himself in a new thread.
I posed the question in one of the question of the day threads and I think it is an important issue that needs an answer:
Would Integrated Voice Chat ever even be considered or is it a dead issue. It is possible that this decision has already been made by higher ups or that it goes against a fundamental design goal or policy. We know it is not planned, but could it even be considered?
I also think there were some good ideas inspired by voice communcation seen in the movies in a previous thread. IF it was integrated make it function almost like an on board radio, maybe it could be damaged and you might loose communications or something. Something more that just an integrate version of Teamspeak. I just dont really want to spend any effort developing ideas along those lines if SOE says it would never happen.

Very nice right there. If it starts to fizzle that will immerse you even more. Nicely done. ![]()

Well the other night I walked into a cantina and I saw a lot of text in a different language.. might have been French. I don't see people speaking different languages being made worse or better compared to typing in different languages. 99% of the time I see people typing in English, which means most people in the game speak English.

I think the foreign language issue would be nigh impossible to address. I would expect it would end up being the same as it is now for foreign language people. Except instead of seeing the language, we'd hear it.
Fine by me.

The greatest thing about voice chat would be so I could catch those sneaky Gungans who try and pass themselves off as Rodians with big ears!
