i ezperienced something while fighting a BH i havent had happen before cvan anyone explain or had it happen to them

he was firing when knocked down nearly every time

my ping was stable,so that wasnt it,at 70 ping that shouldnt be an issue.

but add this to the knockdown slide bug and you have a problem.now this wasnt a fast fight or anything,and although i died, it still was a good fight. congrats muffinman

just havent ever had that happen before

I can't seem to tame anything anymore since the CU. Does wearing armor affect that? Do you guys like CH now? I haven't really played for awhile but I can't use my favorite pet now because it says its stats are invalid but won't let me adjust it at all. I'm not happy so far.

I am loving CH.. though there will be alot of after master grinding that i will have to do after master to get specials.. I am 0304 right now and loving it.. I am not sure about the effect of armor, but i think it might as well as weapons.. i seem to tame better when i am not wearing armor or carring a weapon.. that could be a kharma thing or all in my mind though.

Also get some taming cloths.. i know that helps, that and i think it is jawa beer mabye.. i have never really gotten into food/ drinks much but when i get to the higher CL critters i might look into it.

Thanks for replying but I mean I'm not even getting the option to tame anymore at all. Has that happened to anyone else? That's why I was wondering if wearing armor affects that or not.

You mean that you aren't getting the "tame" menu item on the radial? Or are you trying the /tame command?

Armor doesn't effect your ability to tame (although I suppose it might have an effect on your chances of success). What CH skils do you have? What creature are you trying to tame, and what's its CL? Unless you have some "Taming Vicous Creatures" (either from the Creature Taming branch or from BE-enhanced clothes) you can't tame aggro creatures (the adults show up as red arrows, even though the babies are yellow). And (forgive the stupid question) are you trying to tame a (baby) or an adult?

There is an intermittent bug where babies that you should be able to tame give the message "you cannot tame that" when you try /tame. I'm not sure whether the "tame" radial menu item is there or not on bugged creatures, I haven't checked. If you /examine a bugged creature, you don't get any of the creature information (tamable, stalker, etc), only the /con information. In that case, your only real option is to leave it behind and go looking for a non-bugged baby.

No I'm not getting the tame menu on the radial for anything. /tame doesn't work either. The weird thing is is that when I examine the creatures it says that they are tameable but it won't let me. If I remember right im 4434 so that shouldn't be a problem. This also isn't just one animal. I can't tame anything. And yes, I am only trying to tame babies!

Is this happening to anyone else?

They really are pretty useless. You need all the parts from a DE to make them still, so its easier/cheaper to just get the DE to make the whole droid.

I had a similar exp. about a month ago. I got the message saying " you can't tame that" on everything. I am also a MCH. I was about to give up when it started to work again. The only thing I can think of is I used pets to fight alot and gain ch xp. (to convert at the village). After about 2 days of grinding I went to tame again and it worked fine. Maybe just gaining CH xp fixed the problem. I hope this helps some. If you dont have a pet you can call out I will be happy to give you one of mine.
