i go to put one of my uber guns on my YT-1300 thinking this will make short work of Black Sun npcs and way and behold "(unlocalised) this object cannot be manipulated by you" what does that mean!!!!!!! its getting very annoying and frustrating having that come up on componenets

Oops, just realised what you actually meant. This happened to me a bit when some of my looted parts were on my Party Barge. Make sure that you have the weapon in your inventory before doing it.

I've never owned a YT, but from what I understand, there are no pilot-controlled guns. All guns on the YT are controlled by turret operators. Still don't see why it would give you that message. Shouldn't it just assign the gun to the turret?

im putting it in a turret slot and its on the select menu but wont go in it also happens to other componenets

Launch your MP ship.

Goto the loot box.

Empty it into your inventory.

Land.

The issue you're having is that while the Manage screen lists parts that are on you, or in an MP ship (used to list everything in your bank too, ouch) the parts you get that error from aren't in your physical inventory. As others said, get it off your MP ship, carry it with you, and try again.

I like the idea of being able to see ALL components I have and would even lover it if ones in storage in houses would show up, just need to find a way to designate which are in inv and where the other ones are.

my question is, does anyone know how long roughly it takes for the old man to visit you, once youve trained your last box in the village?

Anywhere from 8 to 48 hours. I just took a day off after all that grinding. I figured out I wanted to do the exit quest near the MO on Dant so I signed on, got buffed and on my way to the first spawn, I got off my bike and there was the old man. I got a waypoint about 2400m outside the MO. From there is was easy to recruit some help.

From what I have seen in the forum on swgcreatures.com, the XP bonus peaks for MOb's no more than 2x the level of your pet, then falls back, I guess because the system figures the pet's doing very little damage relative to you. It's kinda like when low-level players are figthing high-level cratures alongside a high-level teammate. The teammate sucks up almost all the XP.
