I'm currently trying out MCH, novice pistoleer, novice combat medic.

I started off as a rifleman, planning to master rifle and squad leader, but put some points into CH to get better squadleader xp while soloing and never looked back.

Rifle with CH has a few problems, particularly when combined with medic/combat medic. As someone else mentioned, the main problem is the prone warping bug, which is extremely annoying. Apart from that, with a rifle you are too far from your pets to heal, too far from the mobs to use poisons and your specials focus on the mind bar while the pet attacks seem to hit health and action more often.

Pistol is working well for me. I have got to novice pistoleer for health bleed 2. Combine that with (weak) novice combat medic poisons and my pets can quite happily tank 6 or 7 mobs while I tab between them and bleed and (at least try to) poison them.

Medic is good as you can heal your pets and yourself quickly, although you may only need to get enough skill to use Stim B's and then buy some good Stim B's.

I wouldn't advise any melee combat professions, since it's the pets job to take the beating, not the players.

I'll be moving to a Euro server at the end of this month, so I am using this dead time to try out other professions. I'll progess with combat medic a bit more to see if poisons/disease get any better. At the moment my poisons are resisted too often and are not very strong (I can't find the resources for one of the advanced components and another is bugged). If combat medic does not work out for me, I may move over to Doctor. I might also try Carbineer.

Hello,

I am a novice Weaponsmith and I was wondering. In the higher levels of the profession, when making the better weapons, what are some of the essential resources. I just want to know, so while I am grinding, if I run across any, I can get some and save it for later.

Oh, and what is a certified weapon?

you can take a look at www.swgcenter.comthis has a list of all the schematic, you still have to take a look though for what is there.

You can then take a look at www.swgcraft.com which has a list of current resources.

If your on Corbantis then ryll amorphous gemstones as well as Gallinorian rainbow gemstones are spawning. These would let you make some advance components for later, the rainbow gemstones are for the T21 rifle.

Hope that helps you

Guns made on request.

Is there anyway to work on yourself? If so how do you bring up your own radical menu? Thanks )

Try not selecting anything, hitting the escape button twice does it for me. Then type /image et voila!

or you can type /image self

then you don't have to worry about trying to image that table you were looking at

ctr-1 will also target yourself.

Alright, well today I found out what DNA sampling does. And I was wondering if you could Sample Krayts, and if so how good would a pet be if it was made from all Krayt DNA? Can you even do that? I havn't read into DNA sampling and making pets too much, just wondering out of curiousity. Thanks.

Sampling Krayts is very difficult, though not impossible. It's something we do just to say that we did. And often involves multiple trips to the cloning facility.I've heard people say that as far as quality goes they might as well sample the Kimos they've already made from junk DNA to get similar results. Time consuming, but not life threatening to do. Though now that method will be even more time consuming because the deed may poof from the inventory without giving a Kimo sample, meaning you've just wasted five junk samples and whatever resources you used to make the deed.

Anyway, I doubt anyone will sample a Krayt for money. It won't be worth it for you or for them.

Yes, as was stated, you can. It's not really worth it, unless you just want a personal goal. I dont' think there is really a difference between CL 70 dna and CL 150. But it is a good challenge if you get bored.
