what are you gonna do with your car when gas is obsolete? waht are you gonna do with your computer when its obsolete or broken? replace it.. do you place value on something only becasue it can be held in your hand? you see in all other areas of commerce the consumer has rights regarding his purchases.. in the software world its all fudged... in the end we have no rights... what am i gonnado with my charecter without servers.. /shrug that could be tommorow move on to a new game same thing if my mustang /escort blew up id get a new one... what IT is dose not matter hwo IT is treated as a "tradeable" commmodity dose matter.

there are no monopolies here. You don't have to play this game, there are many other mmog's that are in competition with this one. You can cancel at any time and play one of the others. SOE provides a optional service and they are competing with other companies which are providing a similar service.
sounds like you want to take over the game and make it different cause you don't like certain things. lol how ego-centric. This game isn't yours and theres no reason for soe to give its customers rights that will change its service. Especially when its just a game competing with other similar games. Its not a needed commodity lol.

no no no i haev no problem with game changes just Quality .. and no i cant go Enjoy the SW universe anywhere else...
We should not be subject to poor quality.. if they want to make wholesale cahnges GREAT be prepared to do so... I personally think the CU is a good thing but right now with the bugs its not...

the discussion was not about the specifics of the eula. It was about the fact that the game can be changed and that you think you should have some sort of "right" to either prevent changes or change it only the way you like it lol.
