I mean...most players are pissed and think this game is run by JustG, Vass, Thunderheart, Tiggs, and a room full of alcoholic monkeys

Vass...Shhhh...don't admit that we're alcoholic monkeys!
Paid by the Bug!?! Can you imagine how many more bugs you'd find in game if that were the case? One would be fixed and three more would mysteriously crop up...

This literally begs the question.....do you get paid by salary, by the hour, or by the bug? If one of the first two and not the latter, maybe that's an idea.....paid by the bug, just imagine how much quicker we might get things fixed!

Ok, I think it's working now. I wonder if I can count that as a bug I fixed today
Just kidding of course.

Recently the place I work (Software development, but not game development) has been going on a major bug hunt. They started a system to reward whoever fixes the most bugs, with the best bug hunter getting a trip to Disneyland. Someone pointed out that there was a Dilbert comic with a similar incentive program where Wally was "coding himself a minivan" by creating a bunch of bugs so he could fix them. So the people who came up with the idea said "Huh, we'll have to find that one.."
Completely missing the point that being like a Dilbert comic is a Bad Thing.
LOL Classic

My name is Rob “Sitdog” Sitton. I am a programmer on the SWG-JTL team. My work involves developing AI, UI, and general game systems.
I have been running around answering question, tagging along on missions, and watching my friends play JTL. These days I am proud to say I am hearing many more positives than negatives – and the negatives are things we are currently polishing.
Keep the positive/constructive feedback coming. The entire team feeds off of this energy – and in this last push, we really need it.
… and THANK YOU for playing!
Hey! How come you get the cool 'unStar Warsy' picture under your name?
EDIT: Correction. I thought it was a guy with e soccarball. Next time I will look closer with my uber magnifying glass.
