Thread: n00b question

OQ is primary on most weapons (melee and thrown weapons are different) and as close to 1000 as possible is best.
For the other stats like conductivity, SR, UT, you need to get as close to the resource cap as possible. Each resouce caps at a different number, for example, the SR cap for wood is 700. So if you need SR in wood, you would want as close to 700 SR as possible.
There's a reference on SWGCraft that lists the resource cap for each resource, but you need to login to view the page (membership is free)

Regarding resources, so there's no guideline you guys use? Obviously 950 will be better than 900 but isn't there a point on that scale that something is good ENOUGH. Will using 999 copper on a barrel make an difference compared to 900?
That is all up to you. If you want to be a "good enough" weaponsmith, by all means stop collecting resources once you get to 900 or 950 out of 1000. For many of us, the resource game is the only thing that adds some type of challenge other than us being mere assembly monkeys. Being a WS since launch, nothing is "good enough" there is always (or was) something better out there waiting to spawn. If that 10% resource buff hit, it would have leveled out almost anything and 910+ would be "BEST". I'm pretty sure I'd have stopped WS all together because there would be no varitey anywhere except being dependent on loot.
So, it's really up to you when to stop collecting, but ask just about any WS, nothing is ever good enough. (Unless of cours it is 983+ and you use the 2% music buff).

60 is the max rating only acheivable in the R3.
The Mouse Droid have a +10 modifier for each detonation module installed, but you can only 2 in a Mouse droid, thereforthe max for them is 40.

What is the new question that is being asked?
If you are asking what the caps are for each chassis, just multiply the number of available modules in a chassis by 10 (max possible detonation power). This will give you the max detonation power for the droid type. MSE and MSE advanced have a +10 bonus per module.
If you are asking what the best droid for detonation is, I'd have to say that is a subjective answer. Most power? Advanced R3. Best bang for the buck (pun intended)? Adv MSE. You could make the argument that some other exotic chassis might give the element of surprise, but once the whole flyover countdown thing starts the surprise is gone.
