That is incredibly lame... I thought for sure that they would make this stuff craftable. I feel for your profession...

I personally don't thihk it lame, I'm a shipwright and I have more than enough schematics to keep me busy, we were given new ships the heavy mass fighters. The idea of questing for other ships etc just adds more content to the game for people to play with.

I am VERY happy with the idea of questing to get those schematics. It will make those ships all the more uncommon.
At the same time, it adds more content.
The only thing that bothers me right now, is that I haven't discovered where to start any of those quests!!!

I think it would have been better to get a schematic to take to a shipwright... and a little more realistic than having ahull lying around.
Then again, we store AT-STs and rancors in our PDAs.

I've had 3 storm troopers living in my PDA since launch, I let them out now and then to work out the crinks and stiff muscles, god that's gotta be murder on the joints.

I've got a sludge panther in my datapad had it there for about 18months now, can't get it out as I can't control it and it growls at me baring long sharp teeth every time I try ...

Can some one post the start point of the quests for the new ships, and maby some details on those quests. Also can the quests be done more then once? Who can use which fighters? Is there a faq?

The Heavy fighters you get from the appropriate station over Kashyyyk for your faction.
The special Fighters' starting locations:
Eta-2 Actis Interceptor("Jedi" starfighter) - Imperial quest: Pile of bones outside the NS stronghold cave near the entrance.
ARC - Rebel quest: the queen in Theed Palace, way in the back
"Grievious" fighter - quest for anyone: down in the caverns(Midryyyl? sp?)on Kashyyyk(via the Dead Forest) - involves killing an overpowered/overleveled NPC.
You can only use the heavy fighters appropriate for your pilot faction(X-wing for Alliance, Interceptor for Imperial, Vaksai for Freelance)
Anyone can fly the special fighters as long as they've done the quests for them.

Hey Tomo, any chance getting DP or someone to listen about at the very least fixing the Jedi Starfighter quest so if you bone it, you don't have to steal another datapad from someone who wants it?
With as easy as those AT-STs can be hung up on corners, the quest should stay in your journal even if you fail it.
