Are there any future plans to give us the option of pulling out ships in wilderness zones like we can with camps? A makeshift house/camp we can actually walk inside and such?

1. I just want to know if JTL is totally spacebased or are we going to have new worlds to explore on foot? I would like to see worlds like Coruscant, Mon Cal, Kessel, Hoth, etc. etc.

2. Are there going to be GCW ships which you can serve on. Star Destroyers and such?

3. Any chance of adding some more realistic professions such as Police, Bums, Mechanics, etc. etc. It would go a long way towards roleplay in the Star Wars setting.

4. What about a type of basic training or academy for Rebels and Imperials to further immerce yourself in the Wartime setting.

I would strongly encourage the DEVs to look into non-combatant proffessions and missions in the new expansion. I think that would be a big hit, and knock the realism up another knotch.

Repost from another thread, hoping this doesn't get lost in all this:



This is one area that hasn't really been covered in the various info blurbs, but... how are faction and TEFs handled for multi-player ships?


Granted, my knowledge of faction is extremely limited, even in the ground game, but:


- Can a Neutral ferry an overt aboard her ship?

- Will the ship be neutral, or carry the overt tag?

- ...with the overt as merely a passenger?

- ...with the overt manning a turret?

- ...with the overt manning a non-offensive ship position (ie. repair crew)?

- If the ship is owned andoperated by a neutral, will factioned players be able to fire on factioned targets?

- If the factioned player can fire on factioned targets, does that paint the entire ship with a TEF?



And not really a TEF question, but related to the above:

- Can the owner of a ship kick people out of a ship position (ie. kick an uncontrollable player out of the turret position)?

I've been wondering...

I really don't know what it's called, but when you use swoops, speederbikes, etc... the red bar slowly goes down, and eventually you will either have to lose the vehicle or have it repaired.

Will this be in effect for all the new ships ? Having to maintain constant repairs just from use, or will the only damage come from PvE/PvP ?

From what I understand, there will be only the damage taken from battles that you will have to repair. There will be no constant or inherent deterioration without battle damage.

Despite the lack of player merchant abilities in space (as in directly supported by the game through a skill tree, etc), will there be "space lanes" and other freighters and ships piloted by NPCs around the planets, showing normal, everyday space traffic? Space is not all war, and I think this should be shown, especially for immersion purposes.

286. Can you please confirm how the pilot professions will work in JTL from a faction standpoint. Is the following true:
If you are neutral on the ground you can get any of the pilot professions, as long as you are in good standing with that faction. If you are rebel on the ground you can be neutral or rebel in space. If you are imperial on the ground you can be imperial or neutral in space.
