Ranger doesnt have any combat skill though does it? it would help with harvesting, but you would be able to kill it.

ya your right ranger doesn't have any combat skills and you won't have any sp left for combat, so scratch that idea better off just getting a harvestor droid, sure it might take alittle longer harvesting, but you will atleast harvest hide/bone/meat like a master ranger with the right droid.

But you can run really fast with your terrain negotiation, perhaps they will die of exaustion or maybe you can persuade them to try the sandwiches?

I did the tracking tree of ranger once (for a bit of laugh) and when I was harvestting, the difference between hunting4 of scout and tracking 4 is barely noticable and really I would divert the extra SP into a combat profession, even if its just half of fencer, pistoleer or TKA because those extra skill mods / tka meditate / def vs. xxx will allow to survive in the wild for longer periods.

With TKA 0040 Good Armor, two shots of V-Brandy, and a some mind food (the name escapes me) you are dang near invincible. Enraged missions are done solo... pet free in under 5 min.

Im a personal fan of 4040 because the master meditiative techniques let you heal wounds which the rancors love giving you. Put if the SP can be used else where then its good.

Oh and if you are a TKM, you don't really need armour. Back when armour was 45% kinetic, brandy was expensive and everyone had just discovered enraged rancor missions, he used to go out and solo em without armour - just buffs and one muon. Needless to say, one of the funniest things I have ever seen is watching him trying to solo an ancient bull rancor with no armour and only muon and buffs and then him running towards me shouting "crap crap crap! muon downer!"

It must be nice to have all those extra skill points lying around... I can only afford tka 0040, wtih out dropping MBE or MCH.
