Okay, I have to master weaponsmith (Holo's orders). Right now I have Engineering 4...I crafted pants in practice mode by hand to get there. I just looked and saw that it takes 21000 General Crafting Experience. To get to Engin 4 it took a mere 6000 General Crafting Experience. That's almost 4x the amount of Engi 4 to get to Novice Weaponsmith!


So I was curious if anyone had any tips on what's the best thing to craft to grind up to Novice Weaponsmith, and perhaps if anyone had a macro I'd extremely appreciate it. Also, does anyone have a macro for novice weaponsmith to Intermediate Firearms Crafting (35000 Weaponsmith Crafting Experience).

Get heavy harvesters on a high percent of steel, then craft the ranged power up that takes the most metal or steel as a requirement. Due that till you get Novice WS. Then keep getting steel cause you will need it. Craft the ranged weapon component that takes the most metal and only metal(ii think its blaster-pistol barrel) then go up the firearms tree. Once you get the intermediate firearms crafting skill switch to crafting rifle barrels, these take a total of 46 steel or something so you need to keep on getting steel. You will craft these until you get to Master. As for a macro, just look around they are all over the place, and if you can't find one that works, just learn how to write one yourself.

Put all your harvesters on steel, grind survey tools to novice, and projectile pistol barrels to FA1. There'sa macro posted on this forum that can be easily modified to use any schematic, it should still be somewhere on the first five pages.

Do the stats of the resources used when crafting clothing make a difference on the final product?

as far as i know, its does NOT matter...ituse to matter when you could experiment,but not now...


its is a good idea when making mod enhanced clothes or anything for armor segments & whatnot to use good quality resourses... just incase. you never know when they will change something and you dont want your good mod clothes to become junk.

Can anyone help me out real quick ? I am working on CH and I was looking through the skill tree... I am trying to figure out at what point I can name my pet ?

You need to have 4 commands, that is all. You teach teh command beginning with the name: Example: 'Fido come' used for follow, 'Fido kill' used for attack, etc. After 4 commands are learned that wasy the pet will learn the name Fido.

When you get any 4 commands, attack, stay, follow, store, you can name your pet. But, take note, some names will not work, angel, any name with han in it. So, if the name doesn't work, try another simpler one just to test it. Bob, Bill anything simple.

this has probly been asked before but i was wondering if a Krayt tissue could be used in the making of a powerhammer??

No. Krayt tissue only goes in guns that use power handlers.


I don't think the power hammer can use any enhancements at all. The only melee ones are the vibro motors and rancor tooth (which is amazingly bad and not worth using).

If I wanted to open a second account so my son can play the game with his own character; would I have to buy him a second disk or is it enough for us to simply have the second account? (he has his own computer so we would both be on at the same time).


If anyone knows I would appreciate the answer.

I believe all you have to do is go into the launchpad and open a new account. Now the lawyers out there would probably tell you that you need a second copy if you intend for your son to play on a separate machine.
