Drop your faction, then group with imperials doing pilot missions. Much easier than doing 50FP missions from an imp terminal.

It really depends on what rank the smuggler is. I came pretty close to figuring it out a while ago. When all is said and done, it costs a Smuggler Colonel 94.4 credits per point, I am 99% sure. That is why you see it for sale for usually at least 125 credits per point. That and the fact it just takes hours to do this. But with the upcoming lifting of 500 point cap, it will go very much faster.

It may seem that 50 fp per mission is the slow way to go, but honestly it isn't so bad. You can finish it within a buff session, as long as you are a master of an elite melee profession. I haven't checked to see if any master ranged can though. All you have to do is get the higher paying ones, I think it was Bounty hunters. Go to the location and forget about the NPC's, just hit the flag. only takes about 10-15 seconds tops, jump on your bike and off to the next one. Roughly 3 hours later, you get your new faction.

I am looking to buy Imperial faction points on Tempest.
I need 6000.
Getting em from a smuggler makes the most sense.
Please send an in-game email to Calrak if you can help.

if you declare overt for PvP at a factional space station, you will get faction points for every ship you shoot down of the opposing faction in space, but you will be open to attack from enemy players. However, when you land, you will return to whatever your PvP status was before launching.
