It's definitely amongst the strangest loot I've ever picked up. It's called "custom" and I guess that's the truth. My only question is whether it will cause my droid to be super-charged, or whether it will cause my guns to fire out bursts of system configuration data.

I've looted a L7 droid interface a while back. It has a RE level of 1 and it's simply called Armor, and that's it. Just one word.

Yes, indeed. They release patch after patch, with the occasional hotfix thrown in, and yet it's all to satisfy the whining power gamers complaining they have nothing left to do after mastering their profession in a week. All the while, each patch and hotfix breaks more and more aspects of the game. It's been over a month since I was able to do any real space combat (thanks to a bug that's been well discussed and ignored). I read about updates that are making the game harder than it already was for a pilot like me (3222 Storm Squadron), while handing new pilots a ship that I had to pay for (upgrade and hyperdrive capable). Seems I will have to settle for JtL having been my one-time $30 real money payment for no-wait inter-planetary travel. The time I get to play, it's near impossible to find people willing and able to help on missions (and who would want to join a group to completely run someone's mission for them, anyway?). The loot system, obviously, has been ruined by every update/fix that's supposed to be improving it. I would dare say that it's blatantly obvious that the development team does not sit down and actually play the game. If they did, I bet it'd be fixed. Give me the freaking source and I'll fix it. I may not have the time available like the current dev team, but I bet I'd still get the bugs fixed before they do.

Which 'bug' is that supposed to be?

You had to pay for the ship the trainer gave you? How so?
The Tier 0 ships made by shipwrights are still superior to the new upgradeable ship the trainer gives out.
Be realistic rather than pessimistic, please.
