as ive said before, european players mean nothing to SOE. we are just cash cows to them, i think they must find it funny to screw us guys around.

im personally disgusted by the way SOE have handled the situation, delete the threads and hope it goes away. no annoucement, no apology and no explanation why its delayed.

It still boils down to the fact that SOE arent organised. The game must have been gold for atleast a week, if not more. The process of shipping items across to Europe doesnt take 2 weeks, and the chances are that the ISO of JTL would have been sent digitally to a CD Pressing company within europe, who would have then distributed the product.

All I can say is I hope to many people dont quit over this issue as this game is good fun when it works. Issues like Loot / Lair Spawns / and general ground game issues need to be sorted asap as us europeans have sod all to do at the moment ingame. However I feel these issues will again get ignored as JTL is a bigger priority to the Devs (which is wrong). People who dont want to play JTL might as well not bother logging in, unless it is to use the game as a glorified chatroom.

Oh my god! for the 100th time, it is not the Devs that publish the game it is ACTIVSION that does it!

dont blame the devs for the delay, call ACTIVISION or SOE and complain how much you want but they wont care

I am confused, the release date is when the servers are available. Not only are the US servers but the European Servers will be hosting JTL code. ANYONE with the CD can join and play.

Am I to understand the release date sould be the DAY THE LAST STORE IN THE WORLD GETS THE CDS? or should it be the last day the last person buys the game?

The game is available and can be played from Europe, it is not developers who are responsible for the distribution issues, it might not even be the responsibility of SOE concerning the distribution issues.

Activison have put back the release date of JTL so they can push out the new GTA game . They think this will make more money, not sure how they figure this out as alot of people that i know on my server have 2 accounts therefore that means two copies of JTL for say 60% of the players ?

God knows why they just can't release two games at the same time.

Like someone just pointed out above Dev are just that DEVELOPERS! Their job is to develop the game NOT to distribute them.

It is NOT the Dev's fault they have no controls over distribution of the product.

The only ones who are to blame for this is the distributor.

I just rang a couple of PC games retaillers. HMV have the release date for the 5th of November, but I rang Game and they said that it was changed to the 5th but this has now been changed back to the 29th of October...... Confusing isn't it. I guess I'll just take a trip to the shops on Firday and hope for the best!

It's activision... they do this all the time. They have a high profile game release and they put everything else back.

Dunno about you but surely the people who go out to by GTA sans whatever aren't going to go "oooh look an expension pack for SWG forget GTA I'll buy that instead" so I really don't know what Activision were thinking.... having said that I belive it's been realeased in Germany already. The plot thickens.

To be honest with you, if SOE knew this they should have not enabled JTL on the Euro servers until the 5th of November. That way people in the US who play euro servers would not get an unfair headstart.
