UPDATED 11/02/2004 !!!

As we NON-US Players are getting screwed again ....its seems to be getting a standard habbit of SOE

I think this will be a nice compensation for the 2-3 weeks delay on delivery for Non-US players(what means a 2-3 weeks headstart for the US Players!! ) would be:

1. ALL NON-US Players should get the Flash Speeder bonus! Dunno still why we don't get it in the first place?? As I pre-ordered JTL almost 2 months ago on Amazon.co.uk!! Implement it as a 1 or 3 month reward or something!! Must better...much more fair!! As most think its useless ...people like me have seen it...its much faster then the X34 and with color-kit its an Awesome nice looking goody

2. Stop JTL Registrationon the European Servers till JTL is released in Europe!! As now I already see several Master Shipwrights with an abnormal amount of StarShip Chassis and components on the Vendors already!!! Impossible for us European players to able to compete against them anymore! I also see Master Pilots walking around already!!

This would be a bit of justice for the NON-US Players (Europe in this case) for being screwed ALL the time

Flash Speeder...not that good. Bulky and slow. Not interested.

Even thoughI am getting the Yacht I DO CARE because really in not selfish and self centred. I think they should do SOMETHING to make up for this failure!

Hmm,

Yes agree with above two responese tbh, Im already getting the Sorosub (very nice it was in beta

) And dont want a flash speeder.

So, the best compensation would be to just have a universal release date.

If not that, I dont see them giving Non-US players anything tbh (as it would'nt be fair to US players).

Ah well, on the bright side, if you play on a Euro server, most people will be in the same boat.

You are wrong on that part!! Yes ALL european players are in the same boat!!

But what is upsetting us the most is that there are many US Players on the Europe Servers too and they will laugh at us and have a 2 week headstart as they will all get their copy today or tomorrow!!!

Yup, I'm afraid to say that whilst I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment behind this posting the fact is that I'm not that fussed about the speeder and I am also getting my "veteran" reward.

the point is that Non-US players couldnt take advantage of the initial pre-order offer without paying double the price because of import tax, thereby effectively "buying" the new speeder.

To suddenly have our release date 10 days after the US is just not acceptable, but what is more unaceptable is that no-one in any sort of authority has seen fit to comment.

We deserve (a) a definitive answer as to why to has happened (b) an apology (c) an offer of recompense

However, I can see us getting none of these in a hurry because SOE's apathy towards its European customers has been proven again and again and again (anyone read the requests for Euro Fanfest???? )

Unfortunately none of this is going to make a blind bit of difference. We have to wait until 5/11 end of story

I don't know why the UK is getting it 2 weeks late, it should be the same code as US, but I will say this. Late of not, the people in the UK don't deserve any special treatment. Sorry if that sounds harsh but give me a freaking break.

1. The flashspeeder wasn't a GIFT from SOE to begin with!! If Amazon.co.uk didn't promote it to bad, get over yourself its not that great anyways. It was a EB and Gamestop pre-order gift ONLY. All the devs did was say "Yup we will put the code in for it and give you special Pre-order CD Keys" Stop B~tchen.

2. AGAIN the Sorosuub Vetran Reward isn't a GIFT for ordering JTL. Its a REWARD for having a 6 consecutive month account. If you don't have 6 month by the time JTL Releases in the UK then you don't RATE it. Simple as that.

There is no justice for cheating a game system that's in place. You pre-order from the companies offering the Flash-speeder or you don't. You either rate the 6 month REWARD...or you don't. Sorry you gotta wait 2 extra weeks, but that is absolutly no justification for you to rate one GIFT from a company you didn't order from, and it sure as crap doesn't mean you rate a 6 month REWARD.

The new speeder looks lame

A veteran reward is for veterans and I'm already getting it anywayn.

However I can't agree more about some kind of compensation for the appauling treatment we get from SOE - If we arent US they arent interested...

Someone mentioned on another thread about this as well and suggested a free months play - sounds like a good plan to me!!!
