Yeah - funny that... now try solo'ing the *hard* tree's like Storm Squadron or Vortex.

Oh - hate to break it to you - but they just made the game tougher by ramping up the speed of everything by a lot. Now your interceptor will have a hard time even catching a Y-Wing! Oh teh noes!!1!

please understand what I'm saying... I am playing in theafternoon when there is almost no one online...If I was able to play in the evening, I would not complain about that, but now I'm stuck... I mean every other professions can be all the way to master soloable.

as far as i know if you take nutrals up they can help you but not certain on it so if you can work it that way you got a 2/3 chance of finding a pilot to help you instead of 1/3 but yeh go reb tie's suck ass they are esyer to take down that dunelizards lol.

I have the same problem that you do. I have a tough time finding anyone to act as a wingman for me.

Omg, I hear that, Storm Squadron is the hardest by far. It took me a week to get 3222, then I dropped it and got Freelancer Corsec and I was 3333 within 24 hours (thats 8 hours of sleep too.)

It seems the Dev's have taken on an "organic system" of limiting the Imperial presence in space. Cmon, they can't just come out and say that they want to limit the number of Imperial Aces. Look what happened when they said that about Jedi! lol.

For some reason, they WANT the rebels to outnumber the Imperials in space, I just don't know why yet but I think it deserves some thought. (doesn't that seem sooo backwards from the story itself? The Imperials are the ones that outnumber the Rebels by a huge scale, why is the game so backwards on it?)

I'm 3332 in the Inquisition and I solo'd it after trying to find someone to go with me, but failing. I'm not sure how far you've gotten so I'll go through the whole set of missions. I started by hypering in from CNET airspace to the second Dath hyperpoint on the hypermap. After you dock and get get the fake plans you will start towards the new waypoint. About 30 seconds into your journey you'll be jumped by a wing of X-wings, and then a wing of A- wings. Hyper to the first Dath waypoint without trying to kill the enemy, you'll fight em again later even if you kill them now. You'll still be in Dath airspace so you won't fail the mission, plus your now only 3k away from the WP. When you get there you will have to stay close to the WP to transmit the signal at 5% increments. You'll have 4-5 waves attack you. Instead of trying to kill them all I disable their engines by targeting the engines with [ or ] and leave them after they are disabled. After you are through transmitting the signal you will need to finish off any stragglers. The next mission is to killfive lvl 4 X-wings by using the same disable method and then going back and killing them off. After the X-wings are gone you need to go to a new waypoint on the other side of the Dath system to help a transport that is having problems. Simple escort mission with about seven waves of X-wings, B- Wings, Y-wings, A-wings, rinse and repeat. Once again I did the same ol' disable and go on. After all of these waves are over you have to meet another transport, dock, and fight off four waves. When the last enemy is dead you get a mission to transport the docs you just picked up to Naboo airspace, fight a few easy waves, and your done.

By disabling the enemy you don't get any goodies (loot), but you finish the mission. Enjoy this mission, cause the next one is alot harder. I have tried with a wingman who is in an Agressor and failed four or five times.

I think your bigger problem than not being able to do your missions is your apparent lack of friends....

I am currently 3322 in the imperial inquisition. I am doing the deliver a fake list mission. I've done it about 21 times now. Some will say that I should have understood before that this mission is non-soloable but I just can't understand why a casual gamer should have to sit in the emperor's retreat for 1 or 2 hours to wait for a better pilot that will be willing to help you?!

ok so 21 times means you have done it what 10 times really.. Yes I have posted this already and a huge thread exist about it. Bottom line you have to group, but I can tell you its a lot more fun then doing all the missions solo and they being so easy your bored out of your mind like RSF Privateer is.. MY god they are boring.. I am almost Ace and have never died in any privateer missions yet.. Its pretty sad

Definitely have to group, as it should be.

The upcoming Combat Upgrade will make it impossible to solo things. The is an MMOG, there is supposed to be grouping going on.

And grouping is so much better. I used to solo everything as well. Now, I'm part of a group, and we don't have to pay for thing.

In fact, tonight I'm getting a Firespray for free. That's only possible in a group.

I have the same exact mission. I went solo met the shuttle and preceeded to stage 2. I kept going on trying to play it smart and make it all the way.

Stage after stage came and went and still the mission continued. So far so good I thought as I neared the end. I felt good I had gotten as far as I did without any real damage. Finally the last stage, I was to inspect a Nova that was heavily escorted.

I took out the escorts and went to battle the Nova. I went for the reactors to disable it same as I've done to the Lamdna shuttles. Finally it says I disabled it. I was happy it was finally almost over, a big weight off my shoulders.

BUT! Unlike the Lamdna Shuttles the weapons didn't shut down and as I neared it, it surprised the heck out of me with turret fire. Too late, I went down.

Imagine how I felt after doing the mission solo and afterwhat seem like an eternity I came thisclose and nothing.

I am unguilded...I used to be but I work a lot in real life and it's hard to take place in a guild when you're not able to take part in events...
