eh?
I don't know how many missions I've failed and had to re-do, and most of them were very, very long. But you didn't see me coming here and whinning about it. I simply picked up the mission and tried again. If I failed again, I'd go ask for help.
Try getting some help next time. Makes an MMO more fun then playing solo.
You haven't played in months and you failed a mission out of what is widely regarded as the hardest squadron, presumably solo, and you want sympathy?
If you hate space that much, stick to the exciting ground game of lair spinning. Much more fun. No, really.
I got to admit long escort missions drive me batty too. No matter how good you are, how well you can fly, NOTHING you do will make it go any faster. I need a 32 oz'er every time i attempt one these days.

Well I made a post then come back the next day and saw a bunch of morons shooting off their stupid mouths. First of all many people have a problem with the 2 plus hour long mission that you have to restart from the very beginning if you die at the last minute. Nothing new there despite what some of the idiots would say. Second I picked Storm Squadron as soon as I bought JTL and now I am 4433 there is no way I will start over with another squadron. Third since some of the brilliant posters make it sound easy to get someone to spend several hours helping you do some boring never ending space mission how about you put your time where your mouth is? I am on Naritus. Contact me in game with your help and time.
I am not saying it should be "easier" as some people who can't read seem to think. I am saying break it up so someone does not have to go back and do the same long boring flying with nothing to do sections over again because you got killed at the end.
Sorry you had such a tough time, a little tim away from space may be a good idea.
Also perhaps you should take it a little easier on others on the forum... that is if you want simpathy when you come here angry.
Mate, when your first response it to type an angry rant aimed at the devs on a forum where many of the readers like the game, you're not going to get a whole lot of lovin'.

This is the predictable rebuttal. Um, what do you think everyone else since the launch of the game has done. Do you think everyone did it solo? Many folks had help on one part or another, especially their first squadron. I flew two missions for people last night. You are nothing special and no different from the rest of the world. If you can't hack it solo, better make some friends. Oh, a tip - fly their missions for them and they'll be glad to fly yours.
Although, if you talk in game the way you post here, I double you have much luck. You remind of a guildmate one night who started screaming, "SOMEBDY HLP ME WITH MY (censored) SPACE MISSION" over and over in guildchat. Suffice to say, he didn't get help either.

There's no use whinning about it. It's a mission. If you fail, it only makes sense that you'd have to do it all over again. Or would you rather fail the mission, never be able to re-do it, and simply stay at the same place you are in the piloting tree now?

his point is that after you transmit a signal to attract enemy hutts and you destroy the folding dancer nova courier, it shouldn't respawn. you should be able to pick up where you left off
