What's up with space on Test Center? Share what you know.
There are some interface tweaks. Ships far away are now bracketed in blue.
Mining asteroids are up in the "normal" space zones.
The Y-8 is the cargo ship.

Some of the currently useless stations will now interact with you and buy your space resources.

Hmmm... interesting.I haven't noticed that yet.
How did you figure out how to mine the asteroids? I can't seem to figure it out.

Can elements of the UI be resized yet?
For example, whenever I group with one of my guildies, instead of 'Meltony (Augilera Wraith Ten) <direction arrow>
I tend to get 'Meltony (Augilera Wraith T' or something similar.
I'm sick of not being able to see the full names for targets and groupmates. And what makes this worse is I'm running in 12x10 res...

make sure you guys are reporting any UI regressions you see. I launched and it was great to see my chat windows and logs carry over, but my entire ground toolbar did too.
It's important to do it any time they make UI changes, since the code seems a lot more uniform than pre CU, and changes on the ground may apply to space too.

I thought having the same tool barthat I had on ground was a bug so I sent it in.
I hope it is, I find it more useful having a separate tool bar for space since my ground one is fully loaded up on all 6 pages.
Now I'm sure it's a bug, if you click on any of the ground icons on purpose or mistake you get a client crash.
So, I hope enough players bug the UI toolbar for JTL on Tc-EP3 so that they fix it before May 5th.

Mouse-Mode toggle on ground is gone, but still exists in space. Can i get the good old fashioned mousemode toggle to work on the ground as well??
And would someone answer the mining in space question, or point us to a doc on how to do it.

Go to Options, then Controls, then Keymap. There will be a pull down menu at the bottom with various keymap setups. Pick the Star Wars Galaxies one.

Consolidations from a few other threads:
- A space station that can be walked around in.
- The new fighters will be Tier4, non-faction specific.
- New ships will be quest given. Whether deed or schematic is no known.
- The POB ships will get a host of POB only components. Hopefully, enough to make them far tougher.
- The Y-8 will get an Y-8 only mining laser. Presumably, it will be quite powerful if used as a weapon, but given the flight dynamics of a Y-8, no substitute for a fighter.
- The Y-8 is certed to all master boxes.
- Shipwrights get the "fat" ship designs.
- Kashyyyk is on the space map. It's not on the spaceport map. You may need a ship to get there, thus the JtL requirement for the expansion.
- The Imperial Royal Guard Interceptor is a reward.

Having to actually fly to Kashyyyk instead of simply traveling there would deffiantely be cool.

It'd be great if they did that for all worlds.
Maybe I could make some money ferrying passengers around if folks aren't comfortable flying and are unable to use shuttles. Say, call me crazy but isn't that what the whole cantina scene in A New Hope was about? All about finding a ride to another world? But, barring that and it will be barred, at least take the remote worlds off the starport maps. No more commuter trains and carpool lanes to Endor, Yavin, Dathomir and Lok. Shuttles should only be available for travel to Corellia and Naboo and their moons. I'd include Tatooine just because it's so popular and well settled too.

Eck no, don't take all the worlds off the starport maps. Not only does It add unwanted hassel to alot of players who just want to go to one of those worlds for a little hunting but it doesn't add any star warsy imerssion because what will end up happening is people flocking to what are seen as the most popular starports and shouting 'looking for port to Endor/Dant/Dath !!!'.
It would give a way for us to make credits alright but as a master pilot is that really hard ?

That's not Star Wars? I seem to remember a certain old man and a certain mositure farmer looking for a transport to another planet...
