Simply put...
Rough 15 Fps per kill on ground, correct?
40-59 FPs per kill in space, pending on ship, correct?
191 Per gunboat.....
Seems to me i can gain alot of FP's in a short amount of time in deep space as compared to ground combat, correct or incorrect?
More FP's = more bases = faction controlling more territory = your faction winning GCW.
I can't be the only person who realizes this, or am i grossly overestimating FP gain in space vs ground?

ive been tearing it up in deep space on bria. all the imps want fp, but they gotta get through me first. there has definatly been WAY more people out there lately.
rebs have it even easier since the isd gives 500 fp per kill. with a few people attacking it you can bring it down quicker than it respawns, which is pretty darn fast. me and a friend made about 10k fp each in an hour by hitting the isd nonstop. with 3 or 4 people it would be alot faster. also you would be right there where the imps spawn and could shut them down easily.

From what ive seen, its been the exact opposite. Think it was sunday, i saw like 4 or 5 imps (3 of which were stupid enough to not go /anon ), but i didnt see one stinking rebel. Framed 8K, got bored, left.
Today.. just me before worik.. Spent about 20-30 mins, farmed 5K 6K, went home.
(When i can sit at a dead stop behind a rebel gunboat.. i am JUST ASKING FOR IT..yet i never get sent to startport like i SHOULD )
Only reason im opening my yap, cause well, its boring.
Honestly ive taken a dim view of rebels on bria, the instant this GCW PVE love patch went in, overt rebels seemingly ceased to exist. They strut about, talking a whole lot of smack, talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
You of all people i know would prove me wrong, but im refering to the populace in general.

there are several things you can do to improve your chances of pvp in deep space and also improve your rate of gaining fp. maybe i'll write more on it later.

well ducimus, on lowca i spend most of my time in coronet and all i saw is overt rebs, theyre simply all over, the one time i did see overt imps was when a couple came in, but they got pwned by a bunch of rebs, so maybe its city-dependent, or if not that it must be server-dependent

Server dependant, im pretty sure. (not to mention time zone dependant) Everyones experiences will differ, and im not saying mine are all inclusive. Im just saying from what ive seen so far, its... blah!
For example, rebels like to hit talus or datooine outposts alot. With comments like "Suck it down imp!", while imperials from known PvP guilds stand around, unable to do anything. I don't have much of a problem with them hitting the outpost, but the smack talk is annoying. Now personnaly, i try not to smack talk unless im willing to back it up. Apparenly this isn't a value many of these players share.
Then i go up in space, and where i may have seen an occasional overt, i now don't see any. Then i land and see the above mentioned example, just about every night i play. Makes a guy bitter.

no, you can gain fp by declaring overt at any rebel space station. i'm 3433 rebel pilot and i always go overt before a mission.

Talkin Smack in space is a good way to get those of us who went there to get away from it to not go there. AndI Fly for Hours and see nothing. Then Hit the theed cantina and who do I see. YOU! Must be all in the timing My friend.

well i cant relly speak for my felow rebel pilots on bria since i never really pay any attention to how many are overt, but there has been a huge number of overt tie pilots lately, which is exactly what i want. add me to your list and if im on hit me up so we can dogfight.

Last time i was in a cantina was ... 5 to 7 days ago maybe at the earliest getting rid of BF. I don't normally hang out in them and only go there when the BF is too high.
If i sound like im smack talking now, its because im disgusted with some of the effects of the latest patch. (For example, you catch the post with screenshots of rebels inside the emporers retreat?!) Ive only recently started bad talking rebels, but so far ive confined it to a couple threads on the forums. I generally don't get in shouting matches in game, its retarded.
That said, without exaggeration i have gone into space, seriously pissed at the game looking to vent my anger, only to find no outlet. Which only makes me even more angry. So the boards become that outlet. Maybe i spend too much time on these boards and have become cynical as well. I probably just need to take a break from the game.

Might just do that. You sir, have my respect, ive seen you fly. Your not one of those people that are dumber than myself, (yes i consider myself a dummy). I expect to be throughly schooled and have my nads handed to me on a silver platter
