Thread: 2nd space character What if space had it's own Unlock Slot?

What would you want the goals to be to unlock a 2nd character only for space?
And
What would be the special abilites/features of this second account in space?
Example:
Requirement:
All 9 Squadron Badges.
500 Million Pilot Prestige (More?)
2nd Account:
Access to Gunboats, Shuttles, Cruisers, Corvettes, etc.
Basically this new char can be used to gain access to Capital ships.
And

How about 3 squadronsof one faction? I don't want to shoot up my fellow rebs.

I suppose that would be ok. But I think we'd get complaints considering how long the process is for becoming a jedi. Completing 3 pilot trees could be done in a week I'd say.

We should be able to use all 6 of our slots per account on the same server if we want, first MMORPG I have played that won't let ya. Even tho this is only my 3rd

In my opinion there isnt an acceptable level of content/challenge to warrant a second slot from doing space work.

yeah, i haven't even mastered and i can agree with this. it would be nice to have a pilot specific slot, so you could fly freelance AND imp/reb!

Only thing i want unlocked is the ship certifications from past professions 
Maybe not ships of the opposing faction, but privateer would be nice.
On the otherhand, as a privateer, that would be awesome, no opposing faction, you could theoriticaly be able to fly them all!

I hope they never blend the pilot trees so one pilot can fly all the ships.
If they made it possible for this unlocked slot to fly a special unique ship or if he got to choose 1 ship cert he could always have that would be ok! Could have a privateer who has an Xwing Cert, or an Imperial with an A-wing cert, would make for some interesting battles, see one rogue rebel ship fighting with the imperials.

I was thinking the same thing. But we really don't need another character slot just for that. Perhaps just make it a reward for getting X number of pilot badges?

Well my hope is that this extra character slot would allow players to play as 2 different pilot professions without having to go through the grind plus provide a reward for playing so much in general.
Same principal as jedi slot I think and since they don't seem to want to let our time count towards the jedi unlock it seems fair that we should get our own unlock slot with space specific features.
