Second Tier on Imperial Pilot. First column.
First Column = Chassis
Second Column = Equipment
Third Column = Special Tactics
Fourth Column = Droid Commands

It's a tie fighter with a cool blue paints scheme and more mass to fit the better components you get with 2/2/1/1

Heh...which is darker in color than a regular Tie Fighter.
I didn't know that "In" stood for Indigo though (it looks more charcoal on my computer, but that could be just my monitor settings) - I always assumed it meant "Intermediate" as in something in between a Tie Fighter and a Tie Interceptor, but it was just speculation. Indigo makes sense too. ![]()
In any event, the shape and design is the same as a Tie Fighter, just more mass and Indigo in color
.

Its also larger in size. The panels are large and the cockpit ball is larger.
I wonder what the "\in" realy stands for.

It's supposed to be a Tie/LN which stands for TIE Line fighter, but it's correctly written as TIE/ln and in SWG it's incorrectly written asTie/in with an uppercase i.
type "Tie/LN" in google and you'll get a lot back. Type in Tie/in and you won't.

Aye, it's TIE LN Not TIE IN
It's the designation for the standard Line Fighter the LN is from Line.
As in "Front Line" or "Battle Line"
It just get's confused as TIE in because SOE can't tell an I from an L
.. Oh, and aside from slightly more mass, it has a dark blue color to it, where as the others are grey.

It is exactly the same model as the TIE Fighter, just darker. The designation came up because the TIE's in ANH looked white on screen (and the toy) where the TIEs in later movies looked gray. One of the Tech Journals covered this continuity break by saying that it was a new model, the TIE ln. In the game the differences are the mass (40K vrs 20K) and the speed modifier (some say it is .97 vs the .98 for the fighter). Even though it looks the same you want it, double the mass is always a good thing!
