Because GD If they are not it will be another classic example of a missed oppurtunity to make the game more starwarsy. Currently the flight suits in the game are not full rebel flight suits. They are just the clothing underneath. It's like a soldier with his uniform on, but without body armor, a helmet, and other equipment. It's just not complete. The imperials get a full TIE pilot suit, but why don't we get a fully equipped outfit with HELMET? I am getting pissy because from what I hear they aren't in the game. To me this is a big deal mostly because it adds to the atmosphere and starwarsiness.

I am aware there are b-wing flightsuits, but if you look closely they really don't resemble the orange pilot suit, and they are still not fully outfitted.

Yeah i hope they are aswell.

It would be cool as soon as u took novice reb/imp pilot you got the appropriate flight suit free.

But as the guy above said, this is SOE....ppl will prolly where the orange suit from the theme park and that crappy armour whose helmet has a visor.

Heh, I just realized even if they are not in the game, with a little research I could just do a personal client side hack to change that crappy theme park flight suit and helmet into a full flightsuit. I have some experience in 3D-modelling/modding in games.

Why is it so freaking hard to do this? And why can't there be any rebel uniforms, or rank insignias? The imperials get them, and rebels in the movies have them. Is it that much work to do? Why do so much work on Imperial items, and then get lazy when it comes to the rebels.

I wish i can answer but i cant. All i can say is that the dev team thought of this and they did something about it. As for what, sorry cant say. All i can say is the poster of this thread will be happy. Nuff said before Garva hits me with his big ole ban stick.

B-Wing flight suits are not orange, they are gray.

X-Wing pilots are the only ones woth bright orange flight suits.

Y-Wings get dull Green and A-Wings are Navy Blue

Im also gonna use the Rebel Marine Helm for my flight helmet because it looks so cool on my Mon Cal along with the B-Wing suit.

What?? I'm pretty sure all past conceptions of toys and whatnot have had the A-Wing flightsuit to also be the dull green. Unless someone can show proof of this, I'm gonna be looking towards the green.
