No only rebs and nuetral people who take up the reb pilot prof can fly the x-wing.

You got it, thats exactly what you gotta do. but they'll be no point when I destroy it in ym TIE Aggressor

They can actually, any ground faction can be privateer pilot and neutral can be Rebel/Imperial pilot in space aswell as just privateer

Ok your right about anyone can be a Privateer Pilot however if your read the the friday fourm about being a rebal pilot its says in the mail you get to consdier joining the rebal allance (hmm I think im read this wroung and ur right about it )

im personally against this - i dont think neutrals should have access to the imp/reb skills until they join that faction - its unrealistic

Im with you on that, if youre not an Imp/Reb you shouldnt be able to pilot their ships. But unfortunately if the devs dont do it there would be alot of whining.

How do you explain han solo then?
He was not a reb in ANH or ESB but when he did join in ROTJ he still kept his ship so.....
Han solo is a neutral pilot and a rebel ground comander.

Han solo is a neutral pilot and a rebel ground comander.
i can see the point your making bd, but its an unrelated point to the one im on about..
You can do the same as han solo in JTL, im looking foward to doing something like it myself asanyone can gain the cert for the YT-1300, as everyone can train as a neutral pilot, regardless of ground faction - what i dont particulaly like is neutrals having access to x-wings/tie fighters (did yousee captain solo ever pilotx-wings or any rebel craft?)- neither the empire or the rebellion would allow trainingofnon faction members in secret skills.
