Thread: Disappointed
I just opened my first holo yesterday and I got Master Smuggler. I need one more box in unarmed to obtain novice. I am currently a master Artisan and master Architect.
When i used my holo and saw master smuggler i was happy that it wasnt Image Desiger but later grew disappointed as i looked at the skill tree for Smuggler. Why would someone volunteer for this profession.
You get no perks for moving up almost all of the skill trees. Underworld is a joke. And you get 3 new pistol attacks. Unfortunatly I will grind like crazy to get up to the top, but it does not seem like something useful, accept for the fact that I will be able to slice my clans weapons/armor for a short period until I see what the next holo says :-).
Dont be so quick to knock it...you just might like. The pistol specials are great (if you dabble in another combat profession) and slicing is a pretty decent moneymaking machine. BUT, I'll warn you now, be careful for "tell hell."
You other Master Smugglers know what I'm talking about.
You are right about Underworld, complete waist of a tree. Master skill box also doesnt give you anything but a hidden bonus for slicing.
Oh come on! How can you possibly say such a thing about this profession? Do you have any idea how much fun it is to smuggle things across the galaxy with half the law enforcement npcs guning for you and player bounties on your head for breaking the law? Having you found out how exilerating it is to hobnob with the greatest criminal factions in the known universe?
Oh...sorry...I was daydreaming...
Simple answer to your question is programming. The ones they released were relatively easy such things as mantaining harvesters or seeking out resources will require ALOT of work. One thing that people often forget is that there is this whole Space Expansion that they are working on as well as this game. Resources are limited.
I don't know, didn't TH say that all droids are the same under the hood? Mechanisms are there for BH droid, others would be tougher. Thanks for your reply. And oooooh, 1-stars!!! Hehehehehe. I got one starred. Lol, must be all the combat droid fanatics. Take it easy.
OH BOY! LOL... Starwars: Starfighter II...WHOOPTY DOO!...lol.

New lower level combat droids that experimentation actually works on is a GOOD thing. I am happy as a clam about this addition, but I have my fingers crossed that this means new droid models to go along with it. I also have my other fingers crossed that experimentation actually allows us to make droids better than the probot is right now (kind of like the BE's are finding neat ways to still make good CL10 pets).
If you weren't around when Probots could talk, it made them a whole lot more interesting. A talking 3PO better than a probot would be a boon for us.
A REAL droid repair kit will also be a huge boon for us.
Some people will never be happy.....
Take what you can get. It's a start in the right direction at least.
i for one am happy we're getting some of the ideas at least.
A scrap of food is better than no food at all....don't believe? Starve yourself and look at a cracker.....
