i was wondering if anybody out there had tips or a method of finding the blueprints to the firespray. I want one ohhh so bad.lol

Become a Shipwright.

Reverse Engineer everything you can.

Keep doing that until you have all eight parts of the firespray schematic.

Reverse Engineer the schematic fragments.

Easy really!

this is just a novelty ship btw. it sucks to fly it in third person, because it takes up the whole screen. the ship chassis is a big target, so you get hit a lot. it doesn't manuvuer all that great either. as a rebel ace, the only reason i flew it was to get the added mass. now that the expansion will provide me w/ an updated xwing, i'll probably sell mine.

Before you do that you should know that currently the drop rate on these things is pretty awful. And when one does drop it's got the nasty habit of being one that you already have. It takes thousands of loot items to have any hope of getting all fragments. If you wanted to seriously do this be ready to become a merchant and sell all that reversed loot cause otherwise you'll be running missions all day to earn enough to keep buying loot from players.

I personally go up into space all the time just hunting for loot and so far buying it from other players is by far a better use of my time. Loot drops in space are a lot less common than they used to be.

In fact I have 1 KSE Firespray Blueprint left on my vendor from the first time I got all the parts and I just bumped the price up to 20 million. I think these ships are going to become VERY rare at the rate these things are dropping atm. In the past month reversing all the loot I get I have seen 1 fragment drop. And I've reversed a TON.

Well I will have to disagree. I dont think you are doing it right my friend. I sell all loot cept level 1,2 drops. Take my fastest ship (interceptor) run around correllia fast as all hell smoking every T1 spawn i see. I got two disks yesterday. You just need to dedicate yourself to doing it. By far level one is the way to go no inventory issue there.

The manuverability issue is easy to compensate...dare I say it! Slow down a bit turning radius goes WAY up. Same with the "Gimpy Opressor" That I own people with. But yes it is a big target not good for PVP but has more firepower then any Imperial ship so I still like it.

To the gentleman that owns the X-Wing try going down a Tier with your guns. That should free up some mass and dont worry you wont get outgunned by Imps as we only get Two weapons TOPS!

I bought mine. But I must agree that FSP value will go up. There are not so many shipwrights around, since after you master you don't need ships or parts. No demand = no shipwrights. As for the practicality of this ship....well great for looks. Thats where it ends, its too expensive to crash, too sluggish to PvP in. In order to fly it 3rd person you need to changer your graphics setting so that view angle will be the widest. It looks wierd but you can fly it much easier that way.

Hmm I rarely go after anything as low as tier 1 targets but I thought that reversing loot like a level 7 item would give you a greater chance of getting drops. Guess I'll have to go hit up some teir 1 guys and start reversing lvl 1 loot. Sigh, how lame.

I whole heartedly disagree. The third person view of course takes up the whole screen... thats just a fact.

As far as"big target" sure you might get hit alot more, though I haven't had that problem in PvP nor PvE. My record in PvP with the Firespray is actually better than in my Oppressor (though my record with a TIE Intercepter is much better!)

I love my Firespray, I usually load it out with 2 lvl 10 re'ed blasters and 2 Spacebomb 2 launchers. In my opinion it's been worth every penny I paid for it. This of course is my experience with the Firespray. If you get your own then you can decide how you feel about it. Personally, it's one of my favorite ships in the game.

(of course... when ROTW comes out, I'll be flying the Crimson Guard TIE Intercepter quite a bit! Though I will always hang onto the Firespray. I just really enjoy flying this thing!)

Not really. I laugh when i see them, to me they look like a garden snail, standing on its head, flying foward shell first. That and im licking my lips with anticpiation of a big fat easy to hit target when i see one overt in PvP.

I will give the FS one thing, they sound damn cool in flight.

/agree!

a-wing pwntzors any FS in space. the day i lose to a FS is the day i slap myself and cancel my account because i will have shamed myself beyond reparation.

x-wing is more manueverable than the FS, although half the mass. but my x-wing is my favorite ship. i have no problems with power, and when i go to kessel on Vette raids and such, i tend to get the loot from the fighters we destroy very often, even with a crappy PCI grafix card (lag issues) and half the mass of the FireSprays.

and when that heavy x-wing comes out.... FOGETABOUTIT!
