No. Its not even possible to do them with a group of 50, as of now.

In order to keep continuity they want to keep the master privateer populationlow, because in the movies master privateers were a very rare breed, and regaurded by some sentientsas nothing morethan a bunch of hokey flyboys with archaic fighters.

Others who had been all over the galaxy and seen all kinds of strange things,claimed that Master Privateers's never even existed. to keep with this star wars feel they implemented an impenatrablewall for the levelingprivateer

RasalTheWise;

One question, How do you handle the tier 4 mission 2 scenario, out of Dantooine with only one additional pilot?? Is it possible and if so give a guy a tip.

Well, the thing is, you have four or five missions to do, and you can do them in any order. The one I did was where you patrol a bunch of WPs and run across an annoyingly fiesty YT with about five escorts. That was my roadblock, but I brought along a buddy the fourth time (I was being stubborn the first three tries) and we focused on the YT's guns. After we nailed them with guns and missiles, it was easy cleanup for the rest of the mission.

i have been able to solo privateer tatooine neutral so far up to teir4 just finished tier 3

the only problem i really have had was teir3 mission 3 i think it was delvier 3 pay offs to imps way hard imho once i learned the trick of hypering out of it in the same system i was able to move along. now my first tier4 duty mission was hairy to say the least.

Smugglers Alliance is most definately soloable. The only two tricky parts would be the Tier IV exit mission with the gunboat that intentionally turns to bring its guns onto you, rather than following a predictable path and exposing its blind spot, and the final corvette mission. There are a few other missions that are somewhat hard, but they can be completed by doing in-system hyperspace jumps or by disabling targets in order to slow down the attack waves. As for the gunboat mission, with the new capcitor overcharge and capacitor to shield shunt droid commands, you should have no problem making runs on the gunboat and then getting back out of his range before he puts a hole through your shields. As for the corvette, its actually not that hard to solo if you know what you're doing, though if you mess up, its easy for the corvette's guns to tear into you quick. For Smugglers Alliance you have to take out an Imp corvette, the hardest part of which is pulling away all the TIE Aggressors escorting the corvette and taking them out before they wear your shields down. After that the rest is fairly easy.

(Note: All of this is under the assumption that you'll be flying a ship outfitted with quality RE'd equipment and that you'll be running lots of droid programs. If you're using only stock, player-crafted components, and you're not running droid programs, then soloing is going to be a heck of a lot harder.)

Can an imperial help Smuggler's Alliance? If so, give me a shout, IGN kudali (and I'm a MCH too).

I am asking this because I think I may be the only one in my guild to have JTL. We only have 22 members on my server. Plus I tend to be a soloer anyways. I am a Privateer (Smugglers Alliance) and currently at 1/1/1/1. I tried to do the first mission of the next level and got my Dunelizard's backside handed to me. So can the Privateer branch be soloed all the way to master?

I don't see why it couldn't be. I solo'd through tier 4 (had to have help on my exit mission b/c I got impatient) I honestly think if I had kept at it I would have taken out the gunboat. The 30 Kessel Kills was no issue for me (well not really anyway). The vette... find a group. It theorehtically can be done solo but it is SO much more fun with a big group.

That's the problem... I know no one but my guild and even if they are on, I think I am teh only one with JTL... possibly one other. Finding a group, let alone a big group is next to impossible for me to do.

I would have to say ... no ... you're going to need to group up at some point to finish some of the more difficult missions. Added to that is the Smuggler's Alliance is supposed to contain some of the hardest missions of any of the Free Lance pilot factions.

Of course, I could be wrong and maybe someone out there will say they can.

The good news to this is that there are plenty of people out there in the same boat as you. If you're in a jam and looking for help, it shouldn't be much further then the local starport.

Made 4444 in the Smuggler Alliance before I needed help in killing a Tier4 Gunboat (have since learnt how to kill them solo).

Made it all the way to kill the Corvette as RSF, had help take down the covette though
