Why the HELL am I seeing Master and Ace Pilots after only three weeks since launch!!??
Don't give me this crap about having more time to play! Bull

! That's 7 1/2 million points of
experience!
There is something VERY WRONG with this game if someone can Master/Ace a profession
in three weeks. I thought SOE fix that OBVIOUS experience point exploit??
Why do I call it that? How the hell else can someone get 7 1/2 million points in three weeks if
they are not exploiting a flaw in the experience point system!!??

Shh... your envy is showing.
Anyway, I know a guy that mastered Shipwright in 3 hours.
That is wrong.
3 weeks is nothing.

I'm not envious..if you meant that seriously. If not..let me just make it clear that
I do not believe in my heart that any of theseprofessions was designed
to be Mastered or Aced in these VERY SHORT time frames.
I cannot, will not believe that.

I'll explain how i got there.
I'm 1 corvette from being an ace pilot.
As far as i know, you don't have to get 7.5 million exp to ace pilot as long as you kill the corvette.
In any event, I had an awesome group of about 5 pilots that all did our missions together, every night, for 2 weeks. That's pretty much all we did for 8+ hours every day.
So that's how we did it.

Man u guys need to get a life outside of the game. I like SWG and JTL as much as the next guy (ok maybe not as much as some others) but if u open the window and stick ur head out u'll smell something other than your sweaty bodies... its called fresh air and reality. There are wonderful things out there like women and drink all very much fun to play with.
Seriously though 8+ hours a day your health is seriously gonna suffer. What else do you guys do? do you work? do any sports? go out for dinner or the cinema?

i don't think that it is a problem that one can master pilot quickly. putting aside the fact that pvp is screwy at the moment, i think that the end game of jtl is pvp, not the pve you need to do to get master. getting your ace tag is sort of like a really freakin' long intro mission to pvp. but once you are a master you can "play any of the ships" in the real game. it's like a first person shooterwhereyou needed to play all of the computer levels in order to unlock all the character types in the online version of the game.
& i really don't think that most aces are pulling an exploit. i am not an ace yet, but i am pretty darn close (4433) & i really only play on the weekend. so it would seem reasonable (if it is truethat you just need to complete the missions for master, ¬ get all the xp) that someone who had just a few hours a night on weekday nights & the weekends could easily have already made master.

I got JTL on friday (When it was released in the UK) and by saturday evening I was nearly done with tier 3, after about two afternoon's play. Leveling is fast in JTL, especially given that all of tier 3 requires no xp, just hard questing, and the master box is from a hard quest.
