Will the Force Sensitive Enhanced Reflexes Vehicle Control tree have any positive effects on your ships handling in space?

All of the moves you do in your ship are purely your own, never Force-assisted.

On a digressive note (is that even a word?) I saw some pretty ace joysticks on show at PC World. Very nice.

Then why would they add such a crappy skill tree if it has no real use.
Yeah! Spend countless hours grinding FS xp so you too can be the fastest on the racetrack!
If someone is willing to spend literally days of their time mastering that tree; in what logic wouldthey not reward the player with an ability to turn his fighter craft sharper than someone with no ability to use the force to assist his vehicle's movement.

Emerss:
Thats what I was thinking, no one will every get it if it just means you wont hit that tree on your way to the geo caves.

Mainly because it has nothing to do with how well your skills are in the ground game.
For instance, rangers in the SW universe are exelent hunters, their traps are envied by the military and use stealth to get the job done but more important Star Wars Rangers were great pilots. So by your understanding that skills should count in space, i should be a great pilot and perhaps be able to turn better and faster than a none ranger.
The FS tiers were mainly designed for those wanting to go for jedi or wanting to geta slight bonus after master. If you dont like the idea of slaving over fs xp for weeks just to increase your track times, then dont get it, alot will. IMO the only professions that should convert over into space are Smugglers with smuggler missions (smuggling in other words) and Bounty Hunters (Being able to track down their marks in space). The one think i am very definate about however is that smugglers and bounty hunters should not have any extra combat effectiveness over other players or be able to make their ships faster.
Smugglers should be able to slice ships and customise them to increase the speed/agility etc but this could be done to anyones ship and would open them up to scans from imperials. That is the only thing as far as im concerned that should carry over in terms of enhancments over others.

They need to keep the space combat leveled. Jedi were really good fighter pilots but since they are not keeping it along the star wars storyline much why stay accurate with that.

if u read about the npc's in the village u will see that Whip (the guy that gives u the quests for enhanced reflexes) is described as "the best pilot in the village".
it also says hewanted to be a podracer, but u only need common sense to connect driving a fast vehicle with flying a fighter. and we're talking about reacting faster than normal, not making the ship go twice its top speed. (though the force acceleration doesnt make sense, they shouldnt have put that in)

Sure Luke and Anakin were great pilots, but Obi-Wan was NOT a great pilot. As we find out in Episode 2, his piloting skills were fairly average, and we see that he barely escapes from Jango in their dogfight. Clearly in that scene we see Jango's piloting skills are superior to Obi-Wan's.
In other words, there really isn't much, if any, evidence that Jedi are necessarily better pilots than non-Jedi. Jango and Han are just as skilled at piloting as Luke and Anakin, if not better. Maybe, just maybe, Luke and Anakin's piloting skills have NOTHING to do with the force. MAYBE they would have been great pilots even if they felt absolutely NO connection to the force whatsoever.
(And before you cite Anakin's Force Sensitivity allowing him to compete in Pod races--yes it does do that, but it only allows him to keep up with the aliens like Sebulba, who are presumably non-FS.)

Well if you can make yourspeeder/swoop accelerate faster and turn sharper with FS Vehicle Control, why would it not apply to spacecraft?
