It is goign to take THOUSANDS of rescources to make a starship. ata conservitive 5 cpu for all metal and chemical, your looking at ta least 25k or more worth of rescources alone. Ships will never be on the bizzar. that would be finncial susicide.

You buy a ship, use it for 3 weeks decide you want another ship. What are you going to do with the ship you no longer want to use? I don't think shipwrights will ever sell new ships on the bazaar, but there will be a huge used ship and used part market.

only the first month the ships will be expensive, just give them some time to compete and the prices will drop like hell

just like speederbikes the one sells them for 20K and the other for 10K and they both have got 90% durability guess who is selling most bikes?

of course at some level they wont drop anymore but you can be sure that the first few weeks the ships will be sold out everywhere

1. Creature Handlers charged 100k to TRAIN mounts.

2. Droid Engineers charge near 100k on some servers for R3's.

3. Architects charge 150k for Fusions. (as an arkie it takes me about 79k to make one)

4. Armorsmiths charge 300-500k for Composite Armor (which costs them about 30k to make)

5. What's up with Sonic Blasters costing 300k? How about AV21's costing 500k?

So to answer the question, if we're stupid enough to pay their prices, then yes Shipwrights will charge as much as they can sucker out of you.

Dude - where are you getting AV-21 speeders for 500k? on sunrunner i see people charging 3mil for those. just the schematics are 300k-500k.

Either way - expect ships and parts to be expensive. parts more so than ships since they require the rarest materials.

Well, at first prices will be high so people can progress and grind up the shipwright tree. However, like in any economics situation,if you can afford to sell things lower, do it. The fact that your prices are so low attract more buyers and then you can mamke more money selling them at a lower price rather than selling them at a mil a piece. Also, supply and demand- if there are more shipwrights on a server, there will be more competition and lower prices. So, it really just depends on who ya know, and how desperate you are on getting the "latest" ship- remember, the components and your skill make the ship, not the ship itself.

Just my two cents....
