Thread: Player Capitol Ships
The only interior shots I recognized as being from the vette were exactly the same as the ground-based vette missions, so I'd have to say that's most likely what we have to look forward to. Especially considering how much SOE loves cut and paste.
They show more of the SD than the corvette, but if you watch closely you'll see the imerpial officer fly to the corvette, board it and take it over. It's the same layout as the ground based 'vette mission.Sorry for the confusion.
But I'm hoping we'll see something shortly, maybe a friday feature?

Well they said in the HOC that it WOULD NOT be in ToOW expansion. So I bet it's right up there with the Smuggler revamp, and new FRS. Vaporware.
Man this forum has seriously died. Barely any new topics. ![]()

What I can gather from the video is that capitol ships will have:
The ISD had a hangar, but what makes you think we're getting player controlled ISDs?
The video showed docked and undocking with the ISD... again, that's an ISD. It showing getting aboard the Vette somehow, but not getting off of it.
The video showed a series of scripted events in a "mission" style environment. It did not show any evidence of players owning capital ships, of multiple people being on the same capital ship, of people using ship stations in a capital ship, or of any use of player controlled capital ships outside of scripted events. While we very well may get more than single person, temporary use of cap ships in mission scripts, we've been given no reason to expect more than that.

How did U miss that therew has been a smugglker revamp!?!?!?
Think you missed my obvious point. There has been no smuggler revamp despite 2 years of promises, and FRS is following the same pattern. So the odds of seeing capital ships??? Slim to none in my book.
No Joke. I don't think the Devs even look here anymore. Space PvP also needs a revamp. 3 shot deaths is pretty lame when you can almost hold your own against the Corvette. It would be nice to see tiggs post something, but she's ignored me so far even though I sent her a kind PM. Maybe she's busy I don't know.

If you haven't noticed, the only stable thing in this game is the planet's location. If you haven't experienced a bug in SWG yet, you haven't experienced SWG yet. And don't say town locations either because when you fly out of Kashyyyk, the starports are all pushed to the sides of the travel window. Some Wookiee must of gotten hungry and ate the wires, messing up the GUI on the ship terminal...at least that's what the dev's excuse will be...
This whole game needs a revamp. They should start from the beginning to see where they went wrong. First off, combat system. Second, everything else...After the CU, everything went down hill, and if they think Mustafar is going to help, their dead wrong. There isn't even a space zone for mustafar, it's just a giant volcano. I think what they're going to do is make you have to shuttle from Kashyyyk to Mustafar, which would mean you'd have to have RoTW to get to the ToOW. This whole thing is messed up, they should stop adding more bugged things and fix what we already have.
Actually, the gui problem on Kashyyyk stems from the area of the planet only being half what a normal planet is, so when the other planets are pulled up for display, they are zoomed in about 2x, losing the edges.
Stop being a demented retard and apply reason to what you observe.
