Agreed. My time is so filled with helping others, I have to say no once in a while, just to get other stuff done. And it's extremely fun.

I am enjoying helping people with their missions right now, actually. Mostly PA friends, or the friends of those that helped me with my Tier 4's and my Corvette. I still find it to be pretty fun. Of course, I originally got SWG on the eventual promise of JtL. . . so maybe I'm not the average example.
I'm also looking forward to new missions in the next content (read: CONTENT) push, presumably from whatever squadron you mastered with, if not just generic ones for each of the three major factions. And to be honest, sometimes I just like HSing to Dathomir and blasting the living hell out of some random MOBs. I find it enjoyable, and a good way to spend small chunks of time in SWG when I really don't have the patience or the alotted schedule to grind ground-based XP.

Koomik has got it right... help other pilots. Too many people are racing to finish Mastery goals for the only purposes of claiming to be a Master. A true"Ace" (from beforeand after the PvP change in Kessel)would realize that they got there because of a group effort... it wasn't necessarily the individual.

I hire myself out as an Ace Pilot to help other people do their missions/get loot/XP/etc. Very fun to roleplay it with an Imperial Firespray.

Take people for rides in you multi-passenger ship.
Allow people to try out the turrents on your ship.
Allow people to pilot your ship so you can try out the turrents.
Master Shipwrite and specialse in RE10 parts.
Hang around in PVP and blow up the new guys.
Hang around in PVP and let the new guys blow you up.

ya there is a load of stuff you can do this ^ only being only the begining of wat you can do use ur imagination go wild do anything u want make a name of urself(thats wat this game was really intended to be about) and if you mastered one profession lose those skills and become the other profession and wen ur done with that do the other profession start over and become a differant type of that profession (priviteer)(aka Hutt, CSR and that other one) this game is bigger that u think it is

Build up your prestige and go into Deep Space. Then find out how good you are in PvP.

For me its simple..
I plan to work hard to get to master Pilot.. then I plan to work hard to get a Tie Opp..
Then I plan to work hard to get a Decimater..
then I plan to work hard to get a Firespray..
the whole time i will help all my friends and even new friends on getting their pilot skills by flying wing on their missions.
In the end, when I have all my ships.. I will continue to help others.. and continue to aquire my own XP/Pres points.. collecting good loot and saving my money for a Star Destroyer....
Of coarse the Corvettes and Frigates are nice.. but as an Imperial Pilot,Nothing truly says how great the Empire is like a Star Destroyer... at 1600 meters in length and with a capacity of 79 Tie Fighters, I hope it will allow me to host many large battles..
PS - When in Doubt... check it out
