How do u tell if you have a free FS unlock. I never did the holo thing so i dont know if i masterd any of them? Can someone help

talk to the guy...pick the option like "what am i ready to learn" fourth or fith down
he will tell you

i feel ya.
i did the quest that i used a free unlock on.
I blame myself, but, i have submitted a few tickets and an email to soe stating that they should make the quest givers be more specific as to what quests they give and/or block a player from either taking a quest that they used a free unlock on or blockinga player from using a free unlock if they have that quest.
oh well. 1 more week.

really? because u can pick yer free unlock. and thats not the dialoge u want. you want the 3rd from the bottom, if its there. the line u want is "show me new ways of using the force", or something like that

ah.
i meant, the current system allows you to take a quest that you used a free unlock on and vice versa.
For instance,
1. Talk to Paemos, unlock, say, ranged accuracy(?) [the branch that Captain Sarguillo unlocks]
2. Talk to Cpt. Sarguillo, and you're allowed to take the mission.
or reverse it.
1. Talk to Cpt, take quest.
2. Talk to Paemos, and is able to use free unlock on the branch that the quest would unlock.
It's stupidity and impatience on my part, but this was two weeks ago now.
Not sure if the dialog or the system has been changed or not.
I had just wish the dialog or some sort of system was implemented to prevent this from happening.
Another thought, but, this system is probably in place for those who has acquired all the required branches and just wanted the rewards.

I know when I completed the first mission of Storm Squadron's missions i got a free unlock, but when I did the 2nd Tier one I didn't, was I suppose to?

No you weren't. Was just for the first one.

Well i just got back in to SWG and i have a few quewstions about FSxp and free unlocks that i havent found elsewhere.
Who do i talk to for my unlock?
Can i unlock any branch? or just any one thats in my phase?
once i unlock a branch, do i have to cap it that phase, or can i fill it up with xp during another phase?

Once the block is unlocked you can work on XP anytime. Similar as if you wanted to work on 2 professions at a time no set time to finish it off. Just depends how much you want to grind!

One thing to note is if it is a free unlock they will give you the Xp to automatically go train in it.
That is a bigger reward than the unlock itself in my opinion.

Well I went and I didn't have any free unlocks 
If you try once and have no free unlocks is there a chance that you may getgiven one later on down the FS grind? Or is it a case of I don't have one and thats it....
