Thread: Add lambda shuttle to flyable imperial craft when ace

Dear Admiral,
We are is desperate need of some Lambda Class shuttles. Landing a fully loaded decimator for deploying troops on the planet
surface is not the wisest thing to do. A huge clearing can do the trick, but the dence forests on planets like Endor make it too difficult.
Also we need clearing to land on imperial outposts when we contact imperial space stations. Two of these are the Imperial prison on Dathomir
and the retreat of our great Emperor Palpentine on Naboo.
Please create some shuttles for your loyal troops.

I concur with your request for Lambda class shuttlecraft, and will assist you in petitioning
for such equipment to be available for requisition.
I have heard rumors that The empire does have tasks you can perform to grant you the ability to land at our Majesty's Retreat on Naboo. The details of which I am unsure of at this time.
I will also concur with your petition for clearance to land at the Imperial Prison, as I have often had to tie criminals I have captured to the back of my swoop and drag them to the prison. Sadly, some of them did not make the trip to the prison alive.

Dear Distinguished Colonel,
As a MasterSargent in the Emperors Army, I must concur with your request. When my troops are loaded up on a Decimator, it is impossible to ever land where we want. Also we never have the element of surprise. The Decimator is loud, and usually atracts lots of unwanted attention, I end up losing half my men as soon as we step out onto the planet. I would like to offer my support for this move.

Dear Colonel,
I wholeheartedly agree with your petition, the presence of more Lamda Class Shuttles would make it infinititly easier to spot your movem..I mean invinitely easier to spot a landing zone for your troops.

I know i'm asking for a flame but.....Don't you Freelance and Imperials think you have enough choice? I've just noticed Imps and Freelance are always asking for a YT2400, Naboo Fighter or a Lambda but the Rebels keep quiet yet we have the least ammount of models/ships.

well, reb, i just noticed that your ships show exterior modifications. so all your ships can look different. which is really cool, I however, being a loyal follower of the Emperor am forced to remain uniform to all my fellow pilots. I just saw a really cool pic of a 'pimped out' X-wing with a flame paintjob and different blasters on the wing. I think that makes up for few ships a little bit. And i hate to tell you but 3 of your ships are the basically the same: TIE/lightduty, TIE, TIE/IN..... all exact in exterior except the IN is blue....

The exterior for the Lambda is already in-game, and the interior is extremely simple from what I've seen.
It shouldn't be that hard to make for the art team, after all its just a big box, with a triangle on the front and some wings. It has a rear turret, two forward turrets and two fixed forward guns if I remember correctly.
As a transport shuttle with some defences, it shouldn't be all that manuverable, but quite fast.

The Lambda shuttle was designed for planetary operations, and would be a worthy addition to my forces. I hope that Imperial High Command listens to our pleas.

Col. Kelteel,
Thank you for putting this request forward. We line pilots should have access to Lambda shuttles as well as our combat craft. Such a versitle ship should not be limited to use only by rear eschelon units. Please addme to your list of supporters.
