Thread: Add a missile counter on HUD
there's already a missle counter, it's on the bottom center of your screen by default and looks like
m1: 9
cm: 13
on an oppressor you'd see m1 and m2, for missle tubes one and two, but you don't see missle tube 3. a bug...
you can move this little window around your screen as well to put it in a better posisition.
It always defaults to the bottom of the screen.
Most people should study their HUD a little better. ![]()
Actually, what they should do is put in some sort of training system like what EVE and, well, nearly every other game out there uses. That'd cut down on a lot of the frustration some folks have with space (there is a steep learning curve).

Star Wars Galaxies Jump to lightspeed : Learning curve minimal
Falcon Allied Force or even Falcon 4.0 with SP4 : Steeeeeep
This game has a minimal learning curve even for people new to flight simulations.
I dont agree with the statement that JTL has a steep learning curve.
Steep might be the wrong term. But there's a LOT pilots won't learn if they don't browse by the forums or talk to another pilot. The manual - IF you bought the box version - is next to worthless, and a tutorial would eliminate a lot of nonsense that happens around here. Droid commands, component use and balancing, basic tactics, HUD usage and special screens (What ARE those symbols on the ship status screen?), etc.
Big flight sim fan - I always liked Jane's Longbow 2, among other games. I wish someone would make another helicopter simulator that approached the complexity of that game for a modern gaming platform.
