Pub 12 goes live today
While not included in the patch notes, the X52 is in fact working on TC, and it is reasonable to assume it will be working on live tomorow (TC never had notes saying support was added, but it was...)

There is only 1 problem I see with the x52....It totaly trivializes combat.

Picked mine up yesterday, and today I have a twitchy throttle
It spasms between 0 and whereever it's set, or full
grrrr...
Edit: A quick unplug/replug and it's happy again.

Thats probably not why... SWG, for some stupid reason, not only has 2 analog throttle controls, but assigns both of them to two pieces of the joystick. Throttle is assigned to the throttle, and "Throttle slider", which does the same thing as throttle, is assigned to the slide switch. The twitchyness comes from the throttle and the slider fighting over who's controlling speed.

I take it you fix this by just removing one of the assignments?

Goodie, Goodie, look at all the people I can own with their X52s. That joystick is way to complicated for JTL and anyone who uses a fairly standard joystick will own you. I personally use the Seitek Cyborg Evo and it works very well. Who needs all those extra buttons on the side. Just get a simple gaming keyboard and you have more then enough.
Note: this isn't a flame, just my opinion of the uselessness of a flight stick like the X52 in an arcade style game like JTL. It is a great stick if you were doing real flight simulation.
