As much as i dont care about the color of my vehicle or droid. Its an entirely different story for whatever starship i fly. I can see PA's and players setting up specific flight colors for their craft for recognition and possible Role-playing aspect. These paintjobs need to be permanent IMO. Or at least have them only fade after the ship is destroyed. Not each and every single call.

If not permanent, make it so you can change it every 2 weeks or so..

I want my Yt-1300 to be yellow so i can act like an angry new york cab driver as i take Fares.

icant wait. i just wish there were more multiperson ships so not every one would run around being a han solo look alike.

Exactly. YT-1300's were going to be the most sought after ship regardless. Having them as the only passenger/interior ships is only going to increase their demand. Get ready for fleets of Millenium Falcons looking like a flying saucer invasion. That is unless they make the maintenance steep.

And yes they should not fade but you should be able to change them anytime you want, with the right tool.

I don't think we should kid ourselves...there are going to be so many of each type of ship that no matter what you have you will look like everyone else. I think being able to customize your rig, however that may be done, is the only way to have some individuality.

CEC freighters like the YT-1300 were absurdly common in the SW EU for a variety of types of characters, so lots of YT's flying around is not at all immersion breaking.

Oh the paint SHOULD fade, but it should last about 2 weeks of ONLINE time (not actual real life time...) That way it will actually last you more than a month, but you can also change it at any time! It makes consumables, wich master artisans (or maybe eng 4) can make, for repeat business, wich is good

True, but the key phrase there is "like the YT-1300". That's why I think there should be more passenger/interior type ships, even if just the YT-2000 and YT-2400. Some kind of variety, you know? Although those three ships are very similar. Maybe something like Lando's Lady Luck or whatever it was. Just... something different.

I want to paint my YT-1300 dark blue, and my B-Wing dark blue with bright red markings .

It would be awsome if the paint didn't faid...but it probably well. Everything faids.
