Hi,
Can someone give me a recomendation as to what Joystick will be a safe bet for compatibility with JTL.
I'm looking for something that is easy to use (left handed!) and is not going to give me nightmares with drivers / support for games.
I'm not up to speed recently on what's out there and good brands.
Thx
K.

Here's a subsequent question, I saw the X45 Digital Joystick + Throttle in CompUSA the other day and I really liked the throttle, but didn't care much for the joystick. Does anyone know where I can get a throttle like that seperately so that I can still use my sidewinder?

I think Thrustmaster/CH products do a separate throttle....not sure if they have a USB one tho....and it may cost a bit to get one too

My Thrustmaster seems to be a bit funny, while playing X-Wing Alliance and the old X-Wing games, It seems to pull slightly to the left when i turn right... so i have to turn a lot just to get it lined up again..
While I'm in Joystick config, the + thing (the + that says where your joystick is located) moves all over the place constantly.. without me touching it, anyone know why?

Yes. I have a Saitek USB gold. Works nicely with XWA and I'm sure it will work just fine with JTL. Lots of buttons nice yaw control.

Anyone know how to invert the pitch on your joystick?
It'll be under your "Options/Keymap" pane... look for the keypress definitions that haveletters like "JOYX6" (or somesuch). You can remap them by moving the JS instead of typing a key.

IIRC there is an invert option in the normal Controls Options also. no need for remapping.

I've had a basic joystick for my PC, but I want to get a better one now that I actually use it for space stuff. What recommendations for joystick hardware do ya'll have that works well with JTL?
