Thread: An Official Request (Not petition) Make the Yacht modifiable

I would love to use my Yacht as my ship of choose, it's such a beautiful ship, and there is so much potential, though it seems that unfortunately that potential is wasted. I would love to be able to puit some nice engines in and have it as useful as my YT-1300 was.
Maybe by making it so at Master Pilot (all get the same certifcate, like the Firespray) you get the ability to modify the ships equipment, and it should be on par with the other mp ships just that it's a different ship. Unfortunately at the moment the yacht is merely a moving small house.
I would also love to see that item storage buffed a little, as there is not enough to actually have any decorations
Please no flaming or One-starring as it just makes more sense to have it set up so we can acutually use it.

i personaly have been keeping my fingers crossed that somehow... lando calrisian appears somwhere, as he is ace. and send you on a quest. and this is where the ladder, opps chairs an stuff on the bazaar comes into play. also, in the holocron thingie it says the yacht can use astromechs, hmmm.....

It's a beautiful ship, and I love the look of it, I just wish that I could use it as a real ship, it migh give me reson to once again master pilot

all the conduits and pannels would be too far appart though... so that might get annoying...

Yeah true but thinking about it and looking at the ships design, the ship would require 1 or 2 forward firing weapons (look at the hull it has 3 guns underneath). As well as the turrets which are there. Maybe it should be slightly slower than other mp ships, or maybe have less ordnances?

Read up on the "Jades Fire", it's a Sorosuub 3000 as well and is pretty mean. Self defence shoot back system, fast and everything. It was given to her as a reward for rescuing the owners daughter (by the daughter)- it seemed dear old daddy only wanted his ship back as it was about 3 steps beyond state of the art.

Not guns...
Goliath is theDev that did theartwork on the 3000.

The ship is indestructable. I want it to stay that way. So no weapons. None....nada. Ya want to shoot in a MP ship plunk down the cash for one of the MP ships. I would like to see engine mods though for increased speed...via a quest from lando would be cool, but he should be in cloud city now runninng the mines. 
Also Has anyone got a paint kit to work with it? I would like to see different color and textured ships. There all white and very boring. A little variance would be cool.

If people want it to remain indestructible let them have their version indestructible but I want to fly the yacht (I already owned a YT-1300 and dropped freelance for Alliance). as my main ship

From what I was told, apply a texture kit first. Then you can paint it. I have not tried, because I stuck it in the bank, and don't feel like generating the yacht, since I have nothing to do with it right now.
As for making the yacht customizable.....The Vet Gift should not be touched. However, a separate craftable version would be nice.
