Ask this question first: How can grefiers utilize this feature.
Its a really good idea, bravo. However greifers could form vurtiral walls with those thus baring access to someplace.
Solution: REALLY REALLY LARGE space between placing.
Good idea to play with though, and something like this in the future could bring the game a long way. But It'd have to be planned very very carefully. Too much of those in space and lagtastic. However a cap could be made.
I think the first and more likely step is that the star destroyers, etc. will just be placed or generated in space already. Then faction members could board the vessel and depending on rank and/or faction they would take some level of control. At least they could man the turrets, deploy npc fighters, etc. Maybe a new profession could be a version of Squad leader in space. Also, instead of players owning the capital ships maybe if a large group of faction members gathered in one space sector they could use their faction points or ranks or whatever to summon capital ships to aid them in battle.
I just don't see people buying star destroyers and having them in their datapads. Considering a speederbike costs like 10k credits at least, realistically a star destroyer's cost should be in the billions. I don't see the devs putting in all the effort to make one if only one or two players will ever be able to use them.
Personally, I'd just like to be able to board the capital ships and space stations to look around and maybe man a turret or something.
first off to stop people blocking just make it so you can go right through it just like all the other player ships, and Zepplinmike i said it cost alot of FP not to mention once you drop it, it stays their (meaning once its droped its floating around in space) , it would be basically a hq, also maybe to make it even harder to get, perhaps its a schematic that you buy with fp, (one that you can actually give to people however so that combat prof can buy it then give to a shipwrite they know) and then make it so some of the components drop off of NPCs.
also what would be really cool to see is a capital ship on both sides (both sides trying to destroy the other) since everyone would be cloned and be repaired at the ships it would make for interesting battle, perhaps people will actually have to retreat for once instead of dieing off not to mention you would need to come up with strategy to destroy them when they keep respawning![]()

I think PA's should be allowed capital ship size by PA population. For example...a guild with 25 players allowed a Star Destroyer, while a guild with 50 players is allowed a Super Star Destroyer. There should also be a limit to the number of capital ships a guild...only a couple. And capital ships should be for PA's only.
