Master Defender has been cycled out as the premier tankbecause we have no counter to armor break, and it seems that all high level boss mobs use it quite liberally after Pub 24. I would like to thankthe powers that be for my 80 skill point armor that can be outdone at a cost of ZERO skill points by any normal melee profession.

actually you can get armor break resistance quite easy now for M.Def. It is a quest that starts in the mustafar mining facility and is quite easy (if you call killing a cl 84 jedi easy)

Last time I checked that holocronstayed active for 1 or 2 mins a, while Armor break sliced armor is effective all the time. Do not come in here and try to shrug off a valid complaint of both Master Defenders and Teras Kasi Masters with some short term loot item. That is our role, tanking. We should not be second best at it. When a group wants a tank, they should look to the TKMs and MDef first. As a guy who has was a TKM for as long as he can remember, and only dropped it to pick up Defender I am insulted by the lack of interest in making the tanks able to tank effectively. We can be armor broken, and we can nothold agro with theabilities within our skill trees. Next time before you post, prehaps you should consult the Teras Kasi or Jedi correspondents to see how they feel on the subject.

Might be because when mdef's put on AI now, mob's ignore them, making them practically useless as a hardcore tank.

Quite easy as long as you buy ToOW?

Is this item tradable and if so bio-linked?

Everyone knows that armor break can break through innate armor, which surprisingly isnt visible?! How do you break through armor that isnt even there?

I'd trade AI for a skill that would prevent armor from being bypassed in any way for a 2 minute period. This seems like it would adjust our profession to the current state of the game.

No no you are wrong they shouldnt be armorbreakable at all. Innate armor = toughning urself up. How can you find weak spots in your armor and use them to do more damage on your own body toughing itself up? makes sense? ehmm nO?

thats not true. a tkm has no armor break protection either. a piece of clothing, or skill needs to be implemented for inate armor users, so they can compete as tanks, and in PVP

this is totally useless. armor break sliced armor can be used 3600/3600 seconds. this, is, well, a joke. nothing more then a bone thrown to jedi and tkm to get them to shut up.
