If thats all it did it better get a force cost reduction and lose the snare I'd like to tradeAI for a skill that increases our reistance like synthsteak, keep the high forcecostand remove the snare. That would be balanced. As for the armor break thing, I like to see state resists in Defender work and have armor break added to that. It should be tough to land a state on a defender, but not impossible. I think TKMs should get this resistance too.

that is stinky....jedi are not overpowered...i feel bad for you guys worse and worse each time i get on. and i NEVER felt that way till i actually did some testing..soo be thankful.

Anyways yes agreed, with enough credits any combat class can outdue thier respective jedi class. Guess they gave a second character slot not so you can have some time online safe from BH, but so you can play a uber character/template even after becoming jedi.


Kinda sad but i think most master defenders are that now because of the same reason they were it before. Because jedi should be defenders natually. or somethin

Let's think of something that TKM and Defender have in common; Aura and Centre of Being. Perhaps these 2 skills, as well as boosting defences, could give protection to AB. I understand that wearable armour isn't naturally resistant to AB, but I'm sure that we will soon be in a situation where everyone will want it slcied, now that NPCs use AB not just jedi/swordsmen.


Pre CU, sliced armour was ubiquitous; it won't be long before this is the same post CU. I would hope to see some kind of counter to AB available for jedi and TKM.

armorbreak immunity only lasts a few minutes, it's rather crappy.

Armor Break doesn't actually "bypass" armor. It just gives a damage bonus. You can use it against someone with no armor at all and stilldo more damage. So it basically acts as a state against you and should have some kind of counter.

I actually got MDef because of the +500 force and the force regen. (MPowers/MDefender) AI really wasn't what I, personally, was shooting for. But from what I've gathered, it's shot to hell....at least in PvE.

actually you can get armor break resistance quite easy now for M.Def. It is a quest that starts in the mustafar mining facility and is quite easy (if you call killing a cl 84 jedi easy)


sith holocron : 1 forbidden knowledge


gain immunity to armor break for a health cost


reuse 3600 secs







If armour break resistance on armour only lasted for 2 minutes then you would be 100 accurate. Unfortuntely considering the resuse and the time of the effect that does not come anywhere close.

Sure its better than nothing for a non-tank template but as a tanker its not much.

IF only we could get an improved dominate mind boost to make it hit more so they actually stick on us, i also dont see a difference between imp and the norm i think the improved should be an area
