Ok, here's the consolidation from the massive Profession Grind thread, as well as a couple of other threads. Feel free to correct me where I am wrong. Note, I do not list required resources here. Assume that they will be hefty for any crafting grind .

Artisan: Survey line is easily macroable. Popups are annoying however. Grind to Engineer 3 on survey tools and then grind the rest of the xp on personal harvestors.

Brawler: Use one of the many unattended macros in a newbie area. For unarmed, always use Vibros with a very low speed to improve your attacks.

Entertainer: Have a friend/alt account with basic Medic use /tend as much as possible to generate healing xp. Dancing xp is calculated for one flourish every 10 seconds, musician one flurry every 5. Macro flourishing, with pauses for tending your action damage if needed. Can also use a high-regen food like Tat. Sunburn to keep action up. If possible, get a combat medic to do a mind disease on all of your listeners/watchers. Boosts healing xp tremendously.

Marksman: Honestly, use the best weapon you can and make a macro in a newbie area. Let it run all night, and if you did it right you probably mastered that branch. Do that for all 4.

Medic: Have a friend tumble while you macro heal them. Sit in a busy cantina and heal people. Grind Bio Effect Controlers.

Scout: Craft tents for survival xp. Harvesting very large creatures quickly gives xp as well. Running around dangerous places with Mask Scent can be a steady xp flow. Get crates of mesh traps and toss them on anything you can for trapping xp.

Architect: Gungan heads give massive xp but require massive resources.

Armorsmith: Grind Mandaris chests until you can do Ubese shirts, and then grind the shirts for the rest of the xp.

Bio-Engineer: Micro-nutrient supplements and sample from the biggest MOBs you can.

Bounty Hunter: In coronet, by the capitol, there is an informant and a terminal. have both windows open, accept a mission, talk to the guy, check distance, if its more than 800m out, ditch the mission, repeat. Do this till you get 10K xp. Then learn 1/2, and youll have half of 3. Now goto kaadara naboo(I think thats right, maybe keren) take missions there, shuttle to theed, walk outside theedcity, launch your akroid droid, then take a ship from theed whereever. Theres guides in the BH forums with the specific locations and such.

Carbineer: Use a tank pet and spam full auto area 1 or 2 when you get it.

Chef: Grind 1.1k Wastil Breads to 0020. Grind Ithorian Mists to Master.

Combat Medic: See medic, doctor. Also, grind up to Support 4 so you can use Poison Cs and buy them by the crateful. Posion every newbie mob possible.

Comando: Use a launcher pistol to get to flame 2, Flame Cone 1 is your best friend and will pretty much be used exclusively through the profession. Do Seething Bol missions on Dantooine, get a non-ch pet (and be sure to have novice medic). Let the pet get the aggro by attacking the lairs, and then walk up, Flame Cone, and let the Bols burn (I chose the bols because they are vulnerable to heat too, which works great if you need to use the flame thrower in defense).

Creature Handler: Until the nerf patch… get a rock beetle baby and go to town in a newbie area. Grind to CM3, then go get 2 more rock beetle babies and grind the rest of the way. Easily macro’d.

Dancer: See Entertainer

Doctor: See medic, combat medic. Another suggestion which works for all of them is to have a high-HAM pet burned by a flamethrower and then healing it. And a final suggestion is to grind to Rez, and then spam kill/rez a friend. For doc just get to 0/2/4/0 and get a stack of med use 90 or less enhance d's, write a simple macro for all the enhances and call your pet, buff it and store it. Rinse Repeat. Then assuming you have the combat xp to qualify for CM max your doc xp first then go back down to 02/4/0 in doc and continue pet buffing your way through CM.

Droid Engineer: Use Mouse Droids to get to Blueprints 2 and use Advanced Droid Chasis to master the prof

Fencer: The key is speed. A fun weapon to get is the stun baton.

Image Designer: Easily macro’d with a willing victim or on yourself at a slower pace. Frills are mind-free if you can find a Rhodian. Otherwise use something like this-
/image;
/imageDesignSetValue eye_color 15;
/pause .5;
/ui action toolbarSlot22

Merchant: Probably an exploit… set entrance time to all 9s and the fee to 1 credit. Have a person run into your house repeatedly. On autorun the xp comes as fast as they can click it.

Musician: See Entertainer, or macro craft slitherhorns in practice mode for xp.

Pikeman: Pikes are very sloooow. Use the fastest one you can, and have something able to tank for you.

Pistoleer: Grind to fan shot as fast as possible. Use a friend or a pet tank, agro a fair number of creatures, and use fanshot to rake in the xp.

Ranger: See Scout. Very much the same.

Rifleman: See marksman and pistoleer. Key is to get AOE shots quickly.

Smuggler: Grind the best spice you can. For slicing, buy crates of CDEF and slice away.

Squad Leader: Group, a lot. Group with your pets, with other people, with everyone.

Swordsman: See brawler, pikeman, etc;

Tailor: Ribbed shirts to Fieldware IV and then Decorated Belts

Teras Kasi Artist: Work your way to Knockdown1, then up the tree to powerboost. From there you are a killing machine. Pickets are great.

Weaponsmith: Get to Firearms I and do projectile rifle barrells in practice mode for the whole profession

General tips: For combat xp, use c12 grenades on lairs. They translate all of the damage straight to Combat XP. Additionally, use bleeds on a mob and then kill it with grenades. Same thing.

Combat Medic: You don't get xp for healing pet damage, only wounds. A ridiculously fast way to get through CM (and then Doctor if you want) is this: Have somebody flamethrower a pet tank (like a Graul mauler) and let the wounds add up. Macro wound healing on the pet and repeat. Once you've got Support IV, buy crates of the best Area Stim Cs you can find. You can either join a large hunting group (at least 20, usually cave groups) and have them spam specials on the enemies. You can heal everybody there at once, and get insane xp like that. the other way is to have your PA members all duel each other at once and then toss out Area Stims.

Artisan: Survey line is easily macroable. Popups are annoying however. Grind to Engineer 3 on survey tools and then grind the rest of the xp on personal harvestors.

To bypass the annoying popup,put a weight on the enter key and the computer will auto-cancel any popup. One word of warning, some computer may lock up due to the continuous entered "enter" key.

Grinding in general: turn off/turn down every options in the game. Go to window>control panel>mouse and select "double-click" for you left mouse button and "click" for your alternate mouse button. This will allow you to "one-click" to load the resources.

Armorsmith: Grind Mandaris chests until you can do Ubese shirts, and then grind the shirts for the rest of the xp.

Can someone explain this to me? You get 120 xp for ubese shirt and 393 xp for marabi chest plate. You should be able to create each in the same amount of time (3.4 seconds for me). So marabi chest plate all the way is better. I understand that ubese give 2.0 xp per resource compare to 1.5 xp per resource for marabi chest plate, but for pure time, marabi chest plate is better.

Weaponsmith: Get to Firearms I and do projectile rifle barrells in practice mode for the whole profession

Grind to munition 2 and then do heavy warhead mechanism all the way (700xp for heavy warhead mechanism vs 94 xp for projectile rifle barrel).

All combat: go for skill which improve your weapon speed until you can spam every second. Then drink, eat, take drugs, and be merry. You'll be able to spam your special every second.

If you run into this problem, your key repeat ratemay betoo high. To solve this, you can go into Window's Control Panel -> Keyboard. There you can turn down your key repeat rate. Some computers also have BIOS settings were you can set the keyboard repeat rate at the hardware level, which might be even better.

Putting a weight on the enter key, as suggested for survey xp, also works for merchant. I've gotten to Master Merchant in 2 days just having my main char run at my alt's house, and weighting down he enter key to click 'yes' to the 1 cred entry fee.

Another good tip...if you're using a macro of any kind, and you get bugged for some reason and you need to stop the macro:

/dump that will stop all current macros
