Great idea, Liani.




So, did it make it into the expansion publish?

The code is already in the game.


You go to an npc and get a schem added to your inventory (like for the rugs and tables and stuff) and then fill the ten items with whatever....loot junk from all over the galaxy or specific parts....doesn't really matter.


You assemble the thing and create a special Jedi Pearl and Crystal Recycler.


It works like re-engineering ship parts. You load in ten or twenty tunedcrystals or pearls (for example) and the best stats from the group are used to create one re-engineered pearl or crystal.


Hard to see a down side to this. The code is in the game....just needs few tweaks to be ready to go live.


So I'm thinking....maybe by next Thursday, we can have this in game and ready to go?

The problem is that that would actualy help jedi liani, and the devs have made it celaer anything that helps jedi is not going to happen

This would save bandwidth from reduced inventories and fewer weak pearl posts.


It is a win all the way around.

Please ship this idea directly to Rogue5. We might be able to sneak this in with the Obi Land expansion.

Its a nice idea.. but im not sure if it fits into the idea of pearl tuning.. 'attuning the pearl to you and then mashing it up and making an uber pearl' isnt exactly jedi-esque..


I say go for it, but as a personal preferance I would not use it if it was implimented.

I can see no downside to this. Very good idea.

I like this idea, but do not see it happening. Everyone would have 100+, -0.3, -9 crystals/pearls in no time and I do not think that is the devs desire. I think crystals and pearls should just be done away with. Make a saber craftable and it's damage a function of the resources used to craft it and the experimentaion points used... just like any other weapon. Then, each Jedi will be able to have a good saber. No more BS 1 mil perals/crystals that tune to crap causing so many Jedi to do what ever they have to in order to get credits. I think every Jedi should have access to a "good" saber, one that delivers the 1.5x any other profession as intended result (i.e. the equivalent of havingfour +120/-0.3/-9 pearls). This whole pear/crystal thing is a big waste of time and energy and only causes grief to the Jedi. It adds nothing positive to the game IMO. Make sabers craftable or bring back the pearls, in large quantties as there are lots of Jedi who need them; more and more each day :-)
