Hello,
As you can see from the thread that Garva started today, there is growing animosity between the playerbase and the development team, as can be seen from any number of negative threads started due to the changes in publish 24.
I would like to know if there is anything, ANYTHING at all, that we as players can do to actually get one of you guys to come to the forums and engage in a polite, serious, and mature discussion about the direction that the game is going, and why are things being done that pretty much open the door to all kinds of player griefing on the part of the new MBH/SL/CM templates.
If there is a proper way of asking for such a discussion to take place, please let us know what it is...
Yours respectfully,
p.c.

No, but perhaps a public-relations campaign that gets the attention of the media will put them in an uncomfortable spotlight and embarrass George Lucas... think of all the negative publicity that could surround the video release of ROTS...

Likely not, the mods would have to camp the thread, it would be better for the Correspondent to have a direct tie to them. That way they could filter the questions better since they have the same ones we do. I vote for more communication between devs and cors.

mass email to the stockholders of the companies involved. contact the board of directors. ask then to ask for a report of the number of accounts created, reactivated, and cancelled corrisponding to the number of expansions and publications. they don't want the stockholders and the boards of directors to know...i think.
do not crash the servers....CRASH ALL THE COMPANIES INVOLVED!!!!!!!

Yeah but he can only do so much, I think that if the devs actually communicated with him more on a weekly bases perhapspeople would be a little less aggresive. As it is the Jedi forums is a laughing stock with everyone, devs, mods other proffesion boards.

I'm pretty sure that Sony is a public company, but Lucasfilm/Lucasarts are private.
Perhaps it would be more effective, if there is no other course of action, to simply start a media/public relations campaign... this game does allow for a great deal of player griefing, at the very least some sort of consumer alert might be in order.... "Get this game and be prepared to be griefed online". That's really what it's about, this whole Jedi/BH thing. Gives some players ample opportunity to grief other players.

If I had to guess, I'd say they'd do that if they knew they could count on the the playerbase actually participating in the same discussion in a polite, serious and mature way.
