Thread: Thinking outside the box
An idea I have played around with and thought about is where can we find clues about opening the force sensitive slot.
I read the threads in jedi thread mostly for enterainment, it seems every other thread is either someone posting "I OPENED MY FARCE SENSITIVE SLOT", or a 100 paragraph thread that I print up and read while on the john. Most have the same thing in common, they all search for answers within the game.
What if clues exist out of the game? I am not a big Stars Wars junkie, so I am unsure of exactly what is happening in the Galaxie at this time (story wise), but could it be possible that clues might lie in documentation of the current times portrayed in Galaxies.
What did the developers use in constructing the game? What books did they use for reference? I am not saying that someone would need to be a fanatic, versed in exactly what the state of the galaxy is according to all the books that have been released, but that some of the answers might be beyond the game itself.
How many books touch on what is happening during the time frame set forth by galaxies. It could be very helpful to review the same materials that the developers used in building the game, it could provide so insight to unlocking the slot.
Well good luck, I am off the bookstore to do research.

If you are considering a template for TKM/jedi hybrid just for fun and not caring about frs, I would say that fr2 would be useless cause what the hell do you care if you die once in a while?
Just grind up 0044 saber to get jedi exp, then master defender or do 4404 defender, then fr 1 would be great, and the heal mind skill. Bank 4 mil extra exp, drop the saber and add whatever else you want (force drain is good) maybe force armor too,. If you fight as TKM, it really wouldn't even matter when you ran out of force cause you can still tkm all day long.
I know that TKM/jedi hybrid would not really be a good choice, I just know that most players who are jedi probably took TK and/or Fencer defenses in their conversion, which is why I asked it that way. Really all I need is a jedi that can test any special with a regular weapon while using FR2 or FR3. The only hybrid that would work would be with a ranged profession, as you would be the ultimate kiter.
To get a key for the door you must wait for a locksmith to visit in 1 - 3 days.

actually, I would like to know if they can output damagewith ranged weapons with fr2. But i would put my money on sword/jedi over a ranged jedi any day...the defenses of master sword/master defender would be insane...over 100 resists to ALL states HUGE toughness, speed to catch any kiter, +12 melee speed rom fs trees, free warcry and intimidate. A rifleman would be a rifleman without armor, and take big time hits from ranged profs with only a half decent defense.
Yeah, but you could spend all your force power solely on force armor, and if you went ahead and got master enhancer, you would have channel force as well to keep your force pool up.
It all hinges on the damage output while having FR2 activated.
Master Swordsman/Master Defender is still borked against other jedi because jedi toughness does not work against lightsaber damage and neither will your composite armor. Melee mitigation also screws Swords a lot. I would say you're better with Master Defender/Master TKM or Master Fencer. You'd still have enough points to take a decent amount of medic as well. Of course in this situation you're going to die to mind DoTs without a good doctor around.

just intimidate the jedi, a good sword at speed cap will way outdamage the best saber. and don't forget that the sword could have 4004 healing too
but they couldn't use it with their armor on.
