Tiggs commented on this like 2 weeks ago, she said it was something that was not going to happen
...and you haven't been paying ANY attention since...
It's the DESCRIPTION that was erroneous...cause it was from KOTOR2.
The product is real, has a strategy guide from Prima, and we DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS.
You dont want to know
You are right, but I have heard all the rumors, I won't repeat them here...they all stink.
From where most of us, the unknowing majority stand, it could be as simple as the base game with bonuses.
If it's more, well, we will find out before too long. My money is on Tuesday for some official information.
I would bet my paycheck that most of the rumors you have heard are prolly true and yes, we will all know here very shortly
I am down to my last account anyways and judging from the ripples they wont care one bit if I or anyone else here cancels. To put up a product for presale, errors in the description not with standing speaks that they really dont care about the CURRENT player base. It reeks, esp so close after an expansion release, which I regret buying now.

At least one of these contains no suggestion whatsoever that Jedi will be starting profession.

The product will exist, the only thing false is the description (leading people to think Jedi will become a starting profession). It will probably just be something to help new players get started easier such as extra credits, free vehicles, and such like veteran accounts have when you create a new character.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an official announcement pretty soon myself.

i wonder if it will actually be a free respec in a box?
Only problem I see with your idea is the word "free" otherwise it could be possible.
