Ok it is not specifically stated but what we do no is this if you respec to a FS character you will not recieve the jedi veteran rewards. You will recieve your veteran rewards the elder tag, the elder buff, and the ability to level to cl 90. With trader and entertainer the respec is being done by skill points invested so if you can honestly tell people that they can in fact recieve all the jedi rewards by having one box completed and a level 80 character you are misleading them that has not been confirmed. In my honest opinion they will do like the crafters and entertainers and the rewards for jedi will be based on skill points invested in that profession because only having one box complete would mean you would still have to respec into a FS character.
So to answer the poster's question I would honestly suggest if you have an investment in Jedi to try to reach a cl 80 in the profession before November 14th for the announced date for this is November 15th.

Im a CL61 Jedi atm.
I don't have enough points to go Doc for CL80, nor enough Jedi XP for CL80.
Should I drop Jedi skills for Doc to go back to CL80, or stay with my skills and be a CL61?

There is a condensed answers post on this forum and on one of the links a quote from tiggs
Anyone who is a Jedi (which is defined as having the first skill box) will receive the Elder Rewards. So no, you do not have to be a maxed out Jedi to receive the reward.

you only need 4 tier 4 lines to be cl 80, just grind it out, maybe take you 30 hours total.

I would keep your jedi boxes, sounds like you just need one to qualify, which is the only fair way to do it. CL80 requirement would totally screw people that are eitehr redoing their template or in the middle of padi grind.

I see what you're saying, about the respec not the rewards /whap self. Yeah, i'd try to get the 4 tier 4 boxes. Or just enough to get to 80. I'm TKM/ 2002 enh/0033 LS/2000 healer/ nov defender and still have enough free sp to get three tier 4 boxes, i'm pretty sure that will get me to level 80 but we'll see.
